We are looking for SEN / SEND tutors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Shropshire.

At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We keep the team around the child, and you will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists.

This role is perfect for qualified SEN / SEND teachers who are eager to work via 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a variety of learning needs, in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

  • These young people are referred to us by local authorities and schools and will require some level of support in their educational and social-emotional journey
  • If selected, your role will be to provide this support via flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
SEN / SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities:
  • Planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring
  • Providing the young person with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress
SEN / SEND Tutor requirements:
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online assignments

It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

SEN / SEND Tutor employment status:
  • This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, to provide short-term engagements as and when they arise
  • You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE

Our Customer Delivery Drivers love their fast paced, varied role where no two days are the same. They thrive on making our customers happy every day by delivering our products right to their front door.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and when we are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.

About You

When you are on the road, you will need to be organised and as you we will expect you to be an excellent ambassador for the Asda brand.

About the job you’re considering 

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about technology and innovation, and who are eager to launch their careers in the IT and consulting industry. You will be joining a team, supporting one of our largest UK public sector clients. You’ll learn from experienced professionals, sharing experiences and building connections to support your development. 

You’ll contribute to the delivery of impactful solutions, whether through technical implementation, business analysis, or functional consulting.  This may involve working on digital transformation programmes, developing new products, or enhancing existing services through multi-disciplinary teams. 

  • Depending on your role, you may be involved in: 
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and define business or technical requirements. 
  • Translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria. 
  • Supporting the design and delivery of end-to-end solutions in partnership with architects, developers, and subject matter experts. 
  • Playing a key role in agile teams, contributing to planning, delivery, and continuous improvement. 
  • Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet their needs. 
  • Staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to drive innovation, such as applying Generative AI to improve business processes. 

This role is only available to be based in our office in Telford. As such you will need to be based within a commutable distance to your chosen office where you should expect to typically be in our office 3 days a week. This specific role is not available to be based in any other UK office`s, but other opportunities on our website have more flexibility on locations  

Your role  

As an Industrial Placement, no two days will be the same. You’ll be working on live projects with a public sector client, gaining exposure to either our consulting or technical teams. This is a chance to apply what you’ve learned in university to real-world challenges, whether you're helping shape strategic decisions or contributing to innovative tech solutions.  You’ll collaborate with experienced professionals, build your network, and develop skills that will set you apart in your future career.

Your skills and experience 

Our Industrial Placements - where you will develop experience in the following roles, building your skills as you progress. This is a unique opportunity which will see that you work across the market unit in many contract areas. Please indicate in the application form which is your preferred option. 

Engagement Management Programme - a rotational scheme offering hands-on experience across several roles within the market unit. Interns can start in any of the following areas: Junior Project Analyst (PMO) -  focusing on financial and resource management; Junior Business Operations Manager (BOA) -  supporting daily operations and governance; Service Analyst - managing live service delivery and client engagement; or Junior Project Manager - overseeing IT projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies. This unique opportunity allows interns to build a broad skillset while working across various contract areas. 

As a UX Industrial Placement at Capgemini, you’ll be a key member of a Scrum team, collaborating with both senior and junior professionals who are passionate about Agile methodologies, high-quality software, and creative problem-solving. Your internship will offer exposure to various UX roles: as a User Researcher -  you’ll uncover user needs, motivations, and pain points through interviews, data analysis, and workshops to inform design decisions; as an Interaction Designer -  you’ll help craft seamless digital experiences by understanding user behaviours and designing intuitive service journeys; and as a Content Designer - you’ll ensure users receive the right information at the right time by analysing data and shaping content that enhances the overall user experience. 

Your clearance

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:  identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance .   

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
