Postdoctoral Researcher (Computational Immunology and Translational AI)
- Employment Type: Full - time (35 hours a week)
- Duration: 1-Year Fixed Term contract (with likely extension upon performance)
- Remuneration: $91k - $121k base (+17% super and leave loading)
- Location: Kensington, Sydney
Project Focus
- Develop computational tools for analyzing immunogenomics data in the context of gastrointestinal autoimmune diseases and Type 1 Diabetes.
- Lead the application of AI and machine learning to identify novel therapeutic targets and advance precision medicine approaches.
- Foster collaborations with national and international partners at Weill Cornell, Upenn, Houston Methodist, and various hospitals.
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Immunology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in data analysis, bioinformatics pipelines, and statistical methods.
- Experience with single-cell multi-omics, AI, and immune-genomics is highly desirable.
- A passion for immunology and a keen interest in translating research into clinical applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Initiative, leadership potential, and a willingness to tackle challenging projects.
- Conduct research at the forefront of AI-driven precision medicine for autoimmunity.
