The UNSW Sydney Systems Immunology and Artificial Intelligence Lab seeks a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead computational and bioinformatics analyses of immunogenomics data, contribute to cutting-edge research in precision medicine for autoimmunity, and participate in industry collaborations.

Project Focus

  • Develop computational tools for analyzing immunogenomics data in the context of gastrointestinal autoimmune diseases and Type 1 Diabetes.
  • Lead the application of AI and machine learning to identify novel therapeutic targets and advance precision medicine approaches.
  • Foster collaborations with national and international partners at Weill Cornell, Upenn, Houston Methodist, and various hospitals.


Skills And Experience Required

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Immunology, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in data analysis, bioinformatics pipelines, and statistical methods.
  • Experience with single-cell multi-omics, AI, and immune-genomics is highly desirable.
  • A passion for immunology and a keen interest in translating research into clinical applications.
