Key responsibilities will include:
Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and journals

Delivering meaningful variance analysis and commentary to support strategic decision-making
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting processes to provide visibility across the business
Partnering with operational teams to explain financial performance, challenge assumptions, and provide insight
Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency
Supporting year-end processes and audit preparation as required
The successful candidate will:
Be a Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Bring experience gained within a fast-paced SME environment, demonstrating a hands-on and solutions-focused approach
Have strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Ideally have exposure to manufacturing or a product-based environment, although this is not essential
