A forward-thinking, patient-centred GP practice in Uxbridge is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join its established clinical team.
The practice is a modern, well-regarded training environment with a strong reputation for high QOF achievement . It supports both registrars and medical students , and offers a collaborative working culture. The Role
The ANP will work as part of the clinical team, managing a wide range of presenting health needs within a primary care setting. The successful candidate will be expected to:

ROLE PURPOSE
We run a range of services and our ANPs work across 3 key services:
- Additional Access service in the afternoons, Mon-Fri.
- Enhanced Access service in the evenings, Mon-Fri and Saturday day time.
- eHub is a digital same-day service for our 32 practices. ANPs speak to and possibly see patients assigned to them by our senior clinical decision maker who triages all the e-consultations we receive
- We run research clinics, where we see and screen patients who are eligible for our studies.
- Furthermore, we employ Nurse Associates and ANPs may be involved in the training and supervision of these staff.
- The post holder will demonstrate courageous and critical thinking and is a caring, compassionate and committed experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice and other clinical settings.
- The post holder will commit to demonstrating critical thinking in the safe clinical decision-making process. They will communicate and work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
