About the Role:
This is a unique fixed-term opportunity (12–18 months) to work directly with our CEO and help shape Zotefoams’ AI journey. This role is not about optimising existing processes – it's about exploring what AI could enable across the business, from new market opportunities and smarter decision-making to revenue-generating initiatives. You’ll sit at the heart of strategic conversations and work closely with the Group Executive Team to pilot high-impact concepts that could help define our future.
Role Responsibilities:
- Mapping AI awareness, capability and use across Zotefoams
- Supporting executive teammembers with AI-focused objectives
- Identifying both quick wins and long-term strategic AI opportunities
- Exploring data monetisation routes – such as licensing test data or subscription models
- Investigating new market or substrate opportunities beyond our traditional applications
- Piloting and launching up to four proof-of-concept initiatives, one of which could be a wildcard idea we’ve never considered
- Helping define what AI means for Zotefoams and how it fits into our next 100 years
What you'll need:
- At least one revenue-generating proof of concept launched
- A clear roadmap for future AI implementation across the business
- 2–3 new markets or applications identified
- Growing internal understanding, capability and enthusiasm for AI

- Someone early in their career – ideally 6 months to 4 years’ experience
- Background could be in engineering, operations, commercial, finance, or even consulting/start-ups
