**ABOUT YOU**
You will be an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable solutions for your clients and will have the following:-
+ A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelors or Masters) in electrical engineering or building services.
+ Chartered status or working towards it.
+ Proven experience as an Electrical or Senior Electrical Engineer in the UK, ideally with a track record of delivering both electrical and M&E solutions across varied building sectors.
+ Familiarity with BIM processes and tools including Revit and Amtech.

The ideal candidate will come from a similar background and have previous experience working on a similar project such as data centre or pharmaceutical or industrial projects.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Information reporting will be an essential activity to ensure activity deadlines are met to support the project team. li>Familiarisation of Design/IFC specifications and drawings to fully understand the scope of the Project works. Overseeing the Co-ordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring spec compliance and as per schedule priority.
- Assisting the Installation Package team to manage the project's quality needs on-site, guiding to ensure we are compliant to all relevant standards/codes and specifications associated.
- Assessment of Sub-contract and Supplier Tender returns for Technical compliance with design intent specifications.
- Familiarisation with the Project schedule and ensuring Engineering activities do not impact on same (e.g. Procurement, etc).
- Management of the technical submittal, approvals
- Ensure Works are installed in accordance with Project specifications and to the Project QA plan
- Management of Sub-contractors and ensuring adequate information flow to ensure works progress in line with the Project Schedule and Weekly Meeting logged.
- Evaluate and promote the use of new engineering practices and processes to enhance the delivery time of the project.
- Preparing Sub-contract and Supplier Tender Packages in conjunction with Project QS.
Electrical Engineer Background:
- Experience working with a recognised Electrical contractor
- Data centre experience essential
- Excellent organizational and project planning skills
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in the use of Navisworks and Database systems related to Engineering functions
- Familiar with Project /Primavera planning software and CAD/BIM process

We've got a great position for an Electrical Engineer to work on a high end commercial site in Tottenham Court Road! You'll be given the responsibility of overseeing the maintenance on site, expanding your supervisor experience, work for a well-renowned building service provider and be given the chance to progress internally!
As the Electrical Engineer on site, you'll carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, general building and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot / fault find, update site logbooks and respond to client needs.
Electrical Engineer Duties:
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair tasks
- Work on single and three-phase electrical systems, including motors, emergency lighting, fire alarms, pumps, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Safely isolate equipment and systems when necessary to carry out work
- Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with current regulations and industry standards
- Consistently follow and promote safe working practices and procedures
- Maintain detailed and accurate records, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and site logbooks
- Use PDA systems to manage workflow, including job allocation, updates, and closures
