Role Summary

People:

Managing the Environment:

  • Manage the shop floor to achieve a high level of service and ensure a positive and upbeat store environment for customers and staff alike
  • Exhibit excellent floor presence by leading by example and training and coaching the sales associates on service standards and operating systems
  • Be a brand ambassador: provide a high level of service and aesthetic representation
  • Drive Anthro Programme sign ups by ensuring all staff are knowledgeable and are passionately offering the benefits to customers
Operations:

  • Participate in weekly recaps and touch-bases with the Management team to discuss, analyse, and plan department initiatives
  • Perform all store-level operational procedures accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
  • Assist with the timely completion of markdowns, transfers of stock, and Pick Pack and Ship orders
  • Achieve the store stock loss goals via strong loss prevention systems and trainings, assist with annual stock-take
  • Possess strong organisational skills and have the ability to execute projects by priority with a commercial and customer centric mindset
  • Assist in upholding company Health & Safety procedures at all times to protect employees and customers against accidents and incidents
Merchandising and Commercial Awareness:

  • Participate in merchant days with the visual team to develop merchandising skills, standards and commercial awareness
  • Utilise knowledge of customer shopping trends, stock ownership and store business drivers to affectively drive department focuses

This role is to manage the running of the Focus Group Total Care out of hours service support team across all technologies.

Principal Responsibilities/Duties

  • Responsible for the line management and development of all individuals within the out of hours service desk, including the approval of annual leave, tracking absence/shift attendance, product knowledge and personal development.
  • Ensure all out of hours tickets are meeting set KPI’s e.g. response, fix, update frequency, target breaching etc.
  • Handover of tickets raised in hours, including but not limited to; supplier chasing, providing customer updates, processing service requests, and working the total open ticket queues across technologies. Offering a true 24/7 ticketing support service.
  • To be an escalation point for out of hours across all technologies, including fraud management and supplier alerts. Escalations may arise off shift pattern.
  • Conduct regular communication briefings across shift patterns to provide key information the out of hours Service Desk needs to be aware of, including but not limited to handover into service, key account information/changes, development of Total Care support. Ensure team feedback is obtained and any ideas or issues are taken forward and addressed as appropriate to encourage a collaborative working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to support a Service Desk as a leader for a minimum of 2 years in a transferable industry.
  • Solid understanding of the following technologies with at least five years’ experience. Windows Server, Office 365, Firewalls (Sonicwall, Cisco Meraki), Networking & Wireless (Ubiquiti, Aruba, Meraki).”
  • Ability to work to KPIs and instil these in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.
  • Be adaptable to change in processes and lead the change where required.

The UK and Ireland Region statutory leader is responsible for providing statutory leadership and guidance to the finance and non-finance teams for the UK and Ireland Region.

You will be responsible for effectively executing the statutory activities for all legal entities within the region, as well as overseeing the execution of the statutory organisation deliverables.
We are expecting you to lead and drive actions, understand complex issues and provide resolutions. We also expect you to be able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines at times to ensure the objectives of the organisation are met.
As the successful candidate, you will also be responsible for managing a team based in different countries, so must demonstrate strong leadership skills.
**Job Description**
This will include the active involvement in financial reporting of the company, the implementation of its policies and internal controls and leading audit requirements.
This position will work closely with the rest of the Region Controllership team to ensure we meet our key controllership objectives.
You will also be expected to communicate with senior leadership from the business line, HQ and external auditors to execute your deliverables.
**Roles and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):**
**Audit requirements**
+ Manage internal and external audit works for your Region to ensure on-time delivery of the statutory requirements, execution of the audit plan against the regulatory deadlines.
+ We expect you to be able to utilise your technical knowledge to discuss technical matters with the audit team.
+ Coordinate all deliverables with the relevant owners & responsible parties to ensure documentation is provided to high quality and on time.
+ Ensure that any findings are resolved with appropriate owners (Stat, OTR Finance, FP&A, HR, Tax, Legal, other functions) for both US GAAP and local statutory purposes.
+ Look for opportunities to improve the audit process, including identifying opportunities to reduce stat to GAAP adjustments by addressing the root cause.
+ Ability to direct and guide the business organisation with the required disclosures and notes required for the statutory filings using their technical knowledge and expertise e.g. within the UK, section 172, IFRS16 requirements.
+ Support the compilation of local supplementary statistical filings.
**Transactional tax**
+ Oversee the compliance of the transactional tax filings required for your region e.g. VAT and CIS / RCT WHT.
**Technical controllership:**
+ Ensure compliance with GE policies. Facilitate implementations of new rules and new tools impacting finance reporting.
+ Review processes to improve overall efficiency, particularly LEAN simplification initiatives.
+ Collaborate with the Vernova Hub and Genpact teams to ensure the compliance, integrity of the accounts, and harmonisation of the accounting treatment.
**Team leadership**
+ Responsible for the oversight of a team that will support with the execution of the statutory goals.
+ Share knowledge and experience to develop the Regional team.
+ Drive and encourage processes improvements and legal entities simplification.
+ Collaborate with in-country service providers to identify opportunities to reduce statutory costs and manage risks.
**Qualifications:**
+ A degree in accounting or finance and/or a recognised accounting qualification.
+ Proven years of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting - ideally over 8 years within this area.
+ Managing statutory audits/project management experience - ideally over 5 years experience within this area.
+ Demonstrated proficiency of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP/local accounting standards and legal requirements).
+ Must be fluent in English.
+ Highly proficient use of MS Office, SAP experience preferable.

**Job Description Summary**

The UK and Ireland Region statutory leader is responsible for providing statutory leadership and guidance to the finance and non-finance teams for the UK and Ireland Region.
In this role you will use your experience and expertise to solve problems, execute objectives for self and others, and impact short-term and some long-term business goals.
You will be responsible for effectively executing the statutory activities for all legal entities within the region, as well as overseeing the execution of the statutory organisation deliverables.
We are expecting you to lead and drive actions, understand complex issues and provide resolutions. We also expect you to be able to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines at times to ensure the objectives of the organisation are met.
As the successful candidate, you will also be responsible for managing a team based in different countries, so must demonstrate strong leadership skills.
**Job Description**
This will include the active involvement in financial reporting of the company, the implementation of its policies and internal controls and leading audit requirements.
This position will work closely with the rest of the Region Controllership team to ensure we meet our key controllership objectives.
You will also be expected to communicate with senior leadership from the business line, HQ and external auditors to execute your deliverables.
**Roles and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):**
**Audit requirements**
+ Manage internal and external audit works for your Region to ensure on-time delivery of the statutory requirements, execution of the audit plan against the regulatory deadlines.
+ We expect you to be able to utilise your technical knowledge to discuss technical matters with the audit team.
+ Coordinate all deliverables with the relevant owners & responsible parties to ensure documentation is provided to high quality and on time.
+ Ensure that any findings are resolved with appropriate owners (Stat, OTR Finance, FP&A, HR, Tax, Legal, other functions) for both US GAAP and local statutory purposes.
+ Look for opportunities to improve the audit process, including identifying opportunities to reduce stat to GAAP adjustments by addressing the root cause.
+ Ability to direct and guide the business organisation with the required disclosures and notes required for the statutory filings using their technical knowledge and expertise e.g. within the UK, section 172, IFRS16 requirements.
+ Support the compilation of local supplementary statistical filings.
**Transactional tax**
+ Oversee the compliance of the transactional tax filings required for your region e.g. VAT and CIS / RCT WHT.
**Technical controllership:**
+ Ensure compliance with GE policies. Facilitate implementations of new rules and new tools impacting finance reporting.
+ Review processes to improve overall efficiency, particularly LEAN simplification initiatives.
+ Collaborate with the Vernova Hub and Genpact teams to ensure the compliance, integrity of the accounts, and harmonisation of the accounting treatment.
**Team leadership**
+ Responsible for the oversight of a team that will support with the execution of the statutory goals.
+ Share knowledge and experience to develop the Regional team.
+ Drive and encourage processes improvements and legal entities simplification.
+ Collaborate with in-country service providers to identify opportunities to reduce statutory costs and manage risks.
**Qualifications:**
+ A degree in accounting or finance and/or a recognised accounting qualification.
+ Proven years of experience in auditing, accounting, or financial reporting - ideally over 8 years within this area.
+ Managing statutory audits/project management experience - ideally over 5 years experience within this area.
+ Demonstrated proficiency of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP/local accounting standards and legal requirements).
+ Must be fluent in English.
+ Highly proficient use of MS Office, SAP experience preferable.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear / concise manner to multiple levels of the organisation and other functions.
+ Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
+ Previous experience with tax aspects (direct and indirect).

We are looking for a **Regional Team Leader** ( **remote** role - the candidate should be based in **South East UK** ) within our **Rapid Diagnostics** business located regionally across the UK. This role requires you to lead and manage **a team of Collecting Officers** that provide the collection of legally defensible samples for our customers within the South East region.
Main accountabilities
+ Trained in all collection methodology and complete corporate and collecting officer onboarding, providing a comprehensive understanding of all collection processes and documentation.
+ Responsible for the provision of a fully covered standby rota for the Collection Network Emergency Response Call Out Service to meet business KPI's.
+ Participate on an equal basis in the Duty Manager rota covering in and out of hours across 365 days of the year. Providing support and guidance for Collecting Officers and the CSC.
+ Responsible for ensuring that collections are allocated to the closest, available and appropriately trained Collecting Officers.
+ Responsible for line managing collecting officers using trend data to reduce complaints, performance and improvements to service provision.
+ Conduct audits in line with the audit schedule and spot audits for your immediate team and support auditing other teams as required.
+ Identify and support the recruitment of Collecting Officers
+ Responsible for collecting kit, equipment and processing Collecting Officers as leavers in our system with a future end date.
+ Responsible for the management of stock and equipment prevent excessive stock holdings and reduce waste.
+ Responsible for ensuring the Collecting Officers meet Health & Safety standards which include but is not limited to:
+ Meeting the Working Time Directive (WTD) by effectively monitoring on-call and routine work ensuring the conditions are met
+ Ensuring the wellbeing of the Collecting Officer by ensuring they take annual leave appropriately and that we meet business availability requirements
+ You will be required to conduct regular customer collections in all testing methodologies to remain competent to continue to deliver training and conduct Collecting Officer audits.
The preferred profile
+ Strong managerial and leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and support a team in a busy and sometimes pressured environment
+ Previous experience in management of remote workers
+ Previous experience of managing and resolving customer queries in a timely manner
