This position is likely to last until December 2025 and will see you working on a large-scale scale high-end residential London-based project! This architectural practice is based in Chelsea and pays 20 - 25 per hour.
A fantastic opportunity now exists for an Architectural Technician, Technical Architect or Architectural Assistant to join an established Architecture and Design consultancy based in Chelsea Harbour on a contract basis. With a prestigious client base stretching across prime areas of London, including the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, the practice has developed a strong reputation for delivering some of the most luxurious and bespoke properties not only in England but also in Europe, America, and Asia.
Role & Responsibilities
- You will be brought into the practice on a contract basis to support their growing workload in the super prime residential sector. The successful candidate will work as part of the technical team and will be required to produce high-quality technical drawing packages and construction details for a large-scale high-end property in London
- To prepare and write specifications using NBS Chorus
- Assist with site inspections by either condition surveys, site progress and analysis of build work and defects.
Required Skills & Experience
- Residential experience is essential, and experience within the high-end residential sector is a bonus
- An excellent knowledge of UK planning and building consents
- A minimum of 3 years UK experience
- Have an eye for good design and detailing, as well as a fantastic technical knowledge
- Be particularly confident in technical design and construction stages
- Technically strong, with an eye for detail
- NBS experience is beneficial but not essential
- The ability to carry out all aspects of detailing and construction information for residential projects
- A high level of proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit is a bonus but not essential
- The ability to sketch by hand and 3D and 2D
- Confident in hitting the ground running
- Ideally, be able to start ASAP or within a couple of weeks' notice.
