An exciting opportunity is now available for an Architectural Technologist, Technician, or Part 2 Assistant to join a growing, forward-thinking multidisciplinary consultancy. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the consultancy across a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout the UK. Your responsibilities will include preparing and coordinating technical drawings and design packages, assisting with planning and building regulation submissions for residential and commercial projects, attending site visits, and attending client and project meetings, among more.
To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience in a similar role using AutoCAD and have good knowledge of building regulations along with a full UK driver's licence. This is an office-based role with the potential for hybrid, with the office near Woking.

Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of large-scale projects (c. 20m+) from inception to completion
- Assist in managing on-site projects and supporting senior colleagues in delegating to junior team members
- Produce full specifications and develop detailed technical design solutions
- Coordinate with consultants and contribute to the management of project delivery
- Support client engagement, presentations and ongoing relationship management

Architectural Technologist
We are seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic architectural technologist to support our increasingly busy team of architects. You will be required to work closely with the project architects in taking projects forward through RIBA Work Stages 2-5, with proven experience of contract administration.
The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of current Building Regulations and CDM Regulations and will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCad and Revit. Ability to create illustrative 2D and 3D proposals in Revit and SketchUp would be beneficial.
Key Requirements:
- RIBA/CIAT Part II qualified
- Proven experience in contract administration
- Ability to work collaboratively supporting architects
- Evidence of detailed design, tendering and contract administration
- Sound knowledge of Town Planning Policies, Building Regulations and CDM Regulations
