Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Leader or Architect in the delivery of a particular work package or project
- Assist in developing and coordinating design input across all RIBA stages (0-7)
- Participate in design meetings, progress reviews, and workshops
- Support the development of drawings, reports, specifications, schedules, and visualisations
- Contribute to technical coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines
- Assist with presentation materials and sustainability considerations at early project stages

I have some great opportunities with a growing Architecture practice that are currently looking to arrange interviews for both Part 2 Architectural Assistants (and qualified Architects) with experience in using Revit or AutoCAD and ideally experience working on large scale schemes.
The company primarily work within the large scale Commercial field and this truly is a great opportunity to join a thriving practice at a period of further expansion working on both sustainably focused and complex projects in a ever growing in-demand sector.
You will be an integral part of the team working on simultaneous projects at any one time across projects both in the UK and overseas in this medium/large sized firm.
To be considered for this role you must be strong technically and hold a comprehensive knowledge of UK building regulations. Experience in Revit is highly desirable for this role and experience working on large schemes would also be highly advantageous although not essential. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your work and played an involved role in a project running capacity with opportunities to visit sites both in the UK and overseas.

Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join a busy and personable team, this position is paying an annual salary 28,000 - 35,000 DOE . Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 6:00pm with 1 Hybrid working day.
Duties:
- Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications
- Assess the needs of the building and its users and advise the client on the practicality of their project
- Assist with preparation and design proposals specifically using computer-aided design (CAD) and other design software
- Working knowledge of building regulations and planning legislation
- Working on housing / residential projects of varying scales

Our client is seeking a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join a well-established Architectural Practice based in Slough. The successful Part II Architectural Assistant will be working within the residential sector varying from medium scale to larger scale projects.
The successful Part II Architectural Assistant will primarily be working in the residential sector and will be using Revit to design various housing schemes, high-rise buildings and commercial developments as well as helping manage an architectural team. This established architectural practice delivers a diverse portfolio of projects ranging in value from 1 million to over 50 million. Schemes include everything from intricate urban infill developments to large-scale regeneration masterplans and high-density apartment blocks, often navigating complex planning contexts and technical constraints.

Part II Architectural Assistant Position Overview
- Investigate project briefs, materials, and construction products/systems
- Refine concept and detail designs using Revit/ CAD and manual techniques under the guidance of the project lead
- Develop technical designs and production information with guidance from the project lead.
- Incorporate technical information and regulatory requirements into design and production drawings.
- Collaborate with external design team members and stakeholders as necessary
- Participate in in-house/external continuing professional development (CPD) activities, record evidence, and document professional experience as required by RIBA
- Shadow and observe activities within the practice to broaden professional experience and meet Part 3 examination requirements
- Contribute to studio improvement initiatives or provide assistance as needed
Part II Architectural Assistant Position Requirements
- Proficient in the use of Autodesk Revit
- Proficiency in producing coherent and well-developed architectural designs
