We’re working with a growing, independently owned asbestos consultancy that focuses on quality over quantity. They take pride in doing things properly and looking after their team and they’re now looking for a P402/RSPH3 qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join them. You’ll work on a varied mix of residential and commercial projects across South London, Surrey and Kent.
This isn’t a high-volume, burnout role – quality is the focus here. You won’t be expected to complete more than 4 surveys a day, all within the same area. The residential work is all private clients (no social housing or housing associations) and the commercial projects are varied and interesting.
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will:
- Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across residential and commercial properties li>Liaising with clients on site and representing the company in a professional, approachable way
- Producing high quality reports for clients
- Undertaking bulk sampling as required
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidance
The successful Asbestos Surveyor will have:
- li>At least 2 years’ + experience in asbestos surveying < i>BOHS P402 or RSPH qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong IT skills and confident with Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with TEAMS (or similar software)
