We are looking for Assembly Operatives to construct wooden crates in line with customer requirements and industry standards. You will have to prepare and package goods in a way that ensures they can endure typical external conditions encountered during lifting, handling, shipping, and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and brace cases to standard.
- Securely pack and protect equipment.
- Apply strapping, wrapping, and labeling.
- Use protective materials (foam, bubble wrap, foil).
- Lock down machinery and mark handling info.
- Ensure proper case stamping and indicators.
- Keep tools and workspace clean.
- Follow safety, training, and security protocols.
- Report issues and support team tasks.
Required:
- Ability to use power and handheld tools, understand measurements and be able to follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed, including early starts and late finishes.
- Occasional travel may be required as per business needs within the working hours only.
- Ability to lift up to 20-30kg, physically demanding job.
- To have the means of getting to NP19 location Monday to Friday.
