Anaplan is looking for a UX Designer to join our growing global User Experience team.
You’ll be based in our York office, contributing as a key member of our product organization. With offices in San Francisco, London, and across the globe, you’ll be part of a high-performing team that values quality, collaboration, and innovation.

In this role, you’ll own feature-level UX design work across the Anaplan platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to solve complex design problems that impact thousands of enterprise users globally. You’ll help shape enterprise experiences that are scalable, accessible, and user-centered from concept through delivery.
Your Impact
- Design and deliver user-centered solutions for a defined product area, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and fellow designers throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Participate in discovery activities including workshops, journey mapping, and usability testing.
- Produce flows, wireframes, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
- Work with the Anaplan Design System to ensure consistency and contribute improvements.
- Use both qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions and iterate on experiences.
- Help simplify complexity for builders, admins, and business users alike by designing elegant interactions.
Your Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in UX or product design.
- A strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methods.
- Experience designing for data-rich, workflow-heavy interfaces.
- Proficiency with Figma and working within design systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; you can confidently present ideas and rationale.
- A systems-thinking mindset and a drive to improve design quality through iteration and feedback.
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing for admin, builder, or data modeling tools.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and how design decisions impact implementation.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.

- Portfolio of complex, digital experiences for global brands across mobile, tablet, and web channels, such as large CMS sites, e-commerce, apps, etc. Highlight your contribution to each project, and what makes the solution you devised innovation and smart.
- Experience in the public sector and employee experiences is a plus
- The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision (not just 'how it should look' but 'what we should build')
- Have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- Excellent communication skills: being able to explain design rationale, to align and persuade stakeholders, and to drive conversations.
- A solid understanding of all the other disciplines needed to create a brilliant product, such as business, technology, delivery, marketing, and content.
