  • Installation of interior trim packages.
  • Diagnosing and logging build issues while contributing to engineering improvements.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Working with precision tools and components.

The Ideal Build Technician Will Have:

  • Extensive experience in vehicle assembly and build, preferably in classic vehicle restoration or motorsports.
  • A strong engineering background with problem-solving skills.
  • An eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency with tools, technical drawings, and precision components.
  • Flexibility to adapt to overtime and dynamic challenges.
  • Knowledge of H&S, COSHH, and environmental standards.

Hours & Pay:

  • Hours: Day Shift: Monday – Thursday (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM), Friday (7:00 AM – 12.45 PM). Overtime opportunities available.
  • Umbrella Pay: £30 per hour paid via PAYE Umbrella model

Please note , this role is deemed inside of IR35. The Umbrella pay rate offered is inclusive of the Assignment pay rate, holiday pay and Apex Recruitments contribution towards Employer Costs.

HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £41,990pa
Working Hours:
Week 1 - Monday-Friday - 06:00-15:30
Week 2 - Monday-Friday - 12:30-22:00 & Saturday 08:00-12:00

Location: Coventry
 
Skilled & experienced HGV Mechanic is required for full time permanent vacancy.
 
For the HGV Mechanic role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
