The Role:

• To estimate the manufacturing and sale cost of CNC 3, 4, 5 Axis Milling and Turning work packages
• Obtain material, bought out and treatment prices and lead-times
• Produce accurate costing estimates in response to customers' requirements
• Understand the Bid/No Bid process to prioritise workload
• Read and assess engineering drawings confidently
• Preparation of quotes and submitting them. Putting a compliant bid together as instructed in the RFPs
• Liaise with internal colleagues and subject matter experts regarding set-up, routings, and other technical aspects

The Person:

• Estimating manufacturing times within CNC milling in 3,4,5-axis / CNC Turning / and minor Assembly
• Previous experience in estimating and costing is essential

We are currently recruiting for an Aviation Security Officer to work at Biggin Hill Airport

Part Time permanent position - 28 hours per week
£12.50 per hour
4 nights per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 10pm to 6am

This role requires you to have your own transport to get to site

CTC and DBS checks required for all potential candidates.

Your Time at Work

Working in Biggin Hill Airport as part of a team to deliver great customer service and aviation security to all our customers. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for aircraft protection, Aircraft Searches, baggage Search, passengers Search where required.
- Provide great customer service to passengers and customers
- Report all security incidents and concerns to the security supervisor
- Work positively and effectively with all team members and other airport and airline colleagues
- Comply with training, security regulations and G4S is company policies and procedures
- Work safely at all times and in line with G4S is safety standards, policies and procedures
- Always act professionally, dress smartly and be an excellent timekeeper
- Complete any reasonable tasks that are required by the company / Line manager.
- You will be an energetic and professional team player who can work to demanding timescales to ensure that flights depart on time. You will be provided with the necessary training and uniform so that you can confidently carry out the role in line with security regulations and G4S is company policies and procedures.

Our Perfect Worker

To be considered for employment with G4S in this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months.
- Must be a UK resident for the last 3 years.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Good customer service/communicating skills.
- Must be able to pass the CRC check.
- Must be able to pass all required training.
- Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period.
- Physical requirements include being able to be on their feet for extended periods of time, plus being able to work in outdoor weather environments.

Main Purpose of the Sales Manager:

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

• Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships with airlines, MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul providers), OEMs, and key stakeholders.
• Assist in recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
• Prepare and present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and client meetings globally, ensuring the company’s brand visibility and positioning as a trusted interior solutions provider.
• Identify emerging markets innovative retrofit trends and new OEM programs, proactively adapting the sales approach to evolving customer requirements. 
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, providing insights to guide strategic decision-making and product positioning.

To Be Considered

• Degree in business administration, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager in the aviation, aerospace, or aircraft interiors industry, with a strong emphasis on retrofit programs and OEM engagement.

• Strong technical understanding of aircraft cabin systems, interiors, retrofit modification programs and certification pathways (STC, minor/major mods).
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships at C-level and across all levels of an organization, influencing stakeholders and driving commercial success.
• Strong commercial and financial awareness, including the ability to manage complex sales cycles, contracts, and negotiations.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
• Willingness to travel globally to support client engagement and project development.
