We're looking for Aircraft Engineers (ideally with Part 66 Category B1 Licence) to work in a medium-sized, family run business based in Romford. With a small, bur gorwing engineering team, this company can offer real prigression routes for someone who shows good team leadership skills and the possibility to develop into the Chief Engineer.



Roles/Responsibilities:

  • To maintain a fleet of both company and customer aircraft- entire systems
  • To work under IAW Standards- EASA part M (continued airworthiness) and part 145
  • To provide the CRS Signsture for Release to Service
  • To support the engineering team, and intime, lead and manage others


What We're Looking For:

  • A part 66 B1 license or working towards
  • Experience wortking on aircraft (ideally Diamond, Tecnam, Piper and Cessna)
  • Hold a drivbing license due to location

Operates according to training and collaborates with co-workers to ensure smooth operation.

Performs effective screening using equipment and procedures, to prevent prohibited items from entering the air network.

Works within taut timelines ensuring all critical deadlines are met.

This position may use various screening technology, processes, and procedures to screen packages and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Leverages knowledge of the all screening processes and regulations to ensure compliance.

Participates in and verifies daily equipment inspections and maintains a safe environment to ensure operational compliance and efficiency.

Comprehends and implements regulatory changes tools and materials to complete tasks.

Operates according to training and collaborates with co-workers to ensure smooth operation.

Performs effective screening using equipment and procedures, to prevent prohibited items from entering the air network.

Works within taut timelines ensuring all critical deadlines are met.

Works as part of a team to safeguard the air cargo network.

Delivers the screening process to ensure regulation and process compliance.

Escalates quality and process issues to ensure they are handled appropriately by their supervisor.

Monitors the general work areas adherence to processes and regulations.



QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

Successfully pass security checks, e.g., background, criminal records

Successfully pass Eye Test (color-blindness test)

Basic literacy & numeracy



Preferences:

Professional interest in Safety and Security

Sound judgement, decision making and good communication skills

Diligent and critical of detail



Requirement:


Experience working within X-Ray or similar nature of work



Working hours:



Monday to Thursday - 19:30 to 23:30



Friday - 19:30 to 00:30



21 hours per week
