This role will play a leading role in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions in KPMG Insight Platform, KIP. What will you be doing? This role involves working closely with the Advisory Technical Director, defining technical architecture, and guiding development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include supporting the Technical Director in creating architectural blueprints, ensuring compliance with best practices, and supporting project delivery.

- Demonstrable experience in the Solutions Design of complex highly automated, secure platforms on the Microsoft Azure stack.
- An in-depth understanding of Azure Services, such as Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Data Factory, Purview, Fabric, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.
- Good experience in the HLD/LLD of IAAS platforms.
- Good understanding of Azure Cloud Engineering, DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, and IAC.
- A good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID.

What you'll do
* Act as a solution architect to construct large-scale, complex solutions for clients (solution shaping, estimating, ensuring overall solution and contractual obligations are deliverable)
* Fulfill sales origination activities in early phases of the sales process in conjunction with our sales function.
* Engage with clients to explore service needs and pre-qualify sales opportunities.
* Contribute to the development of our Go-to-Markets and offerings.
* Coach, mentor and motivate team members to influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Leading the solutioning process, you will:
* Interpret client-defined or implied requirements against Avanade solution templates and delivery capabilities and define a solution aligned to these.
* Contribute to the deal competitor analysis and development of win strategies.
* Create and document the solution details in a solution plan, engaging and consulting internal stakeholders as required.
* Forecast the required staffing and identify all expenses to ensure an accurate estimation of delivery costs over the contract term.
* Review and obtain sign-off from regional, area or global Avanade leadership (based on service scale) in respect to your solution and its scope, approach, costs, commercials, and risks.
* Draft and present the proposal to the client, taking ownership of solution elements.

* You have worked on complex migrations for on-premises infrastructure, applications, and databases to Azure, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
* You've developed solutions for Edge and Hybrid scenarios by integrating Azure Stack and other technologies to extend Azure capabilities to on-premises environments and edge devices.
