Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for building structures.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects and other design team members.
- Manage structural design elements of projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients and contractors.
- Keep abreast of new technologies and design methodologies.
- Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering for buildings.
- Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) status or working towards it.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
- Experience with CAD software and BIM technologies.
- Strong understanding of building materials and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
