As a CAD Technician, you will:

What We're Looking For
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, CAD, or related discipline
- 3-5 years' experience in a UK design engineering environment
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, ideally MicroStation, with experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D also valuable
- A proactive team player with excellent attention to detail

Salary: Up to 35k + package benefits
Emtech are working with a Civil Engineering consultancy who are looking for a CAD Technician to join their team in Cambridge with a background in highways and transportation projects.
They are currently working on a range of schemes across residential, retail, warehouses and commercial projects so ideally you will have previous private sector experience.
Technical Experience Required:
- 1+ years experience using AutoCAD civil engineering design projects within an Engineering discipline, highways, infrastructure or transport would be ideal
- Experience draughting roads, junctions, roundabouts, alignments in AutoCAD beneficial
- Design of external works to commercial developments (service yards, car parks etc)
- Must be able to use AutoCAD independently within a civil engineering environment
- An interest in working within a highways & transport team
- Knowledge of S278 / S38 would be particularly beneficial
