We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced CNC Router Programmer/Operator to join their manufacturing team in Sharston. This is a days-only role offering stability, a competitive hourly rate, and excellent employee benefits.
Duities & Responsibilities:
- Program and operate 3 & 5 axis CNC routers (Vectric / Aspire, Thermwood desirable)
- Review technical drawings and data to produce precision seat plastics components
- Optimise production efficiency through effective CAD-CAM nesting
- Maintain workshop machinery in line with company safety standards
- Work closely with other departments to ensure deadlines are met
- Minimum 3 years' experience programming and operating CNC routers
- Skilled in 5-axis programming (Thermwood experience an advantage)

Are you a CNC Machinist with experience as a Grinder looking for a stable and permanent role within a well-established company, offering plenty of overtime to increase your earnings, within a daytime only role where no weekend work is expected, that offers an early finish on a Friday?
As one of the 3 workshop Grinders, you will be your responsible for programming, setting & operating CNC grinding machines. You will be working through the scheduled production plan, usually completing a 20-30 item batch size production runs. Your duties will also include offering suggestions on how to improve production in an environment where everyone's input is valued. You will work with Jones & Shipman as well as Kellenberger Grinding machines.
