Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for a CNC Setter Operator to work with a leading global manufacturer who produce machined components supplying predominantly into the energy industries. As the CNC Setter Operator you will be responsible for setting and operating Fanuc controlled Lathes & or Machining Centres.
Duties of the CNC Setter Operator:
- Editing programs (G & M codes)
- Setting & Operating CNC lathes or Machining Centres
- Carrying out offsets & tool changes
- Altering speeds and feeds
- Monitoring cycle times
- Basic machine maintenance
The successful candidate for the CNC Setter Operators position will have the following experience:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience Setting & Operating Doosan Puma Lathes
- Checking for defects & quality issues (Essential)
- Ability to manage cycle times (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
