In order to continue their success and ongoing growth, they seek to appoint a dedicated, capable and ambitious Bid Writer to produce high quality proposals and bid documents. The nature of their work is highly project based, with several tenders running concurrently at any one time. There will usually be at least two multimillion dollar tenders underway as well as some smaller ones too – they have a broad base of mainly large international clients. Tenders will involve managing many stakeholders across operations and finance, meaning excellent communication skills will be important. Sitting within the commercial team, your role will be to produce accurate and on-time bid submissions that meet the client’s requirements and to win the bids. The role will be fast paced, varied and time-critical.
As Bid Writer, you will also evolve the way in which bids are written, ensuring they are continually reviewed and improved. This is an opportunity for someone to really stamp their own mark on whole tendering process.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Draft and edit sales submissions, to include; expressions of interest, proposals, formal bids and tenders etc. li>Quality control of bids and all accompanying documentation.
- Ensure compliance of bids with industry regulations/requirements.
- Drive innovation in the writing, creation and presentation of bid related material, refreshing current methods and striving for continual improved results.
- You should have exceptional attention to detail, be confident with people at all levels of seniority, adept in your written English and ideally have experience of and an interest in travel/international cultures.
