As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of critical community development initiatives from conception through to completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects that aim to improve local infrastructure, enhance social services, and empower community members. This includes managing project budgets, timelines, resources, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes and lasting positive impact. Your expertise in project management, coupled with a deep understanding of community dynamics, will be vital.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of diverse community development projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of funds and accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee and coordinate project teams, including internal staff, external consultants, and community volunteers.
- Engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including local authorities, community groups, residents, and funders.

- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in project delivery methods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and funding requirements.
- Champion the organisation's mission and values throughout project implementation.
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering complex community-focused initiatives.
- Demonstrable understanding of community development principles and practices.
- Experience in managing project budgets and resources effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing tasks effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is highly desirable.
