The Role
We’re looking for a Content Lead to own and operate Founders Factory’s content ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that builds our brand, showcases our impact and supports our strategic marketing and commercial objectives. You will manage and grow our owned content channels, lead storytelling initiatives and elevate Founders Factory’s voice as a thought leader in the industries and markets in which we operate - with a particular focus on Fintech, Climate and Deep Tech.
This role is ideal for a strategic, creative and technology-driven content marketer with a passion for new ventures and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Execution
- Develop and lead Founders Factory’s content marketing strategy, aligning it with business objectives and brand positioning.
- Own the content calendar and pipeline, balancing thought leadership, founder resources, product marketing and storytelling.
- Support the refinement and articulation of Founders Factory’s core propositions and service offerings across all touchpoints.
- Be a resident expert, advising portfolio founders on strategic content marketing best practices.
- Channel & Platform Management
- Own and operate our key owned content channels, with a particular focus on LinkedIn, our blog and email newsletters.
- Manage and grow our channels to engage relevant audiences and drive business value.
- Co-ordinate with partners to create and amplify content and key messages.
- Performance & Optimisation
- Define key KPIs and track content performance across platforms.
- Use AI and workflow automation tools to streamline content production, enhance productivity, and expand creative output.
- Continuously learn and iterate based on performance data to improve effectiveness and ROI.
- Content Production & Editorial
- Write and edit high-quality content across formats, including: blogs, long-form articles, market theses, case studies, newsletters, press releases, sales collateral, programme materials and social media posts.
- Identify and develop compelling stories originating from our team, founders, partners and broader ecosystem; building relationships to translate insights into impactful content initiatives.
- Support our fractional PR Lead in drafting press releases and developing earned media strategies.
- Use Canva and collaborate with design freelancers to produce multi-format content.
- Ensure all content reflects the Founders Factory voice, brand, and messaging guidelines.
- 5+ years experience in B2B content marketing, editorial, or communications—preferably in venture capital, startups, or tech.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio of published work.
- Proven ability to develop and lead content strategy from ideation through to execution and analysis.
- Experience managing social media channels, particularly LinkedIn, for a business audience.
- Confident using AI content tools and automation platforms to support workflow.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward.
- Optional: Experience in journalism or corporate communications.
Compensation: £55k salary plus equity
Flexible working: Hybrid working (2 days/week on-site in our central London office). 5 weeks of remote working allowance.

As Content Marketing Lead at Midnight, you will be responsible for developing and executing content marketing campaigns that educate technical and non-technical audiences about Midnight and our growing community. You will work cross-functionally to design and execute brand awareness messaging, educational campaigns and broader external communications.
Duties
Content Strategy & Planning
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to Web3, blockchain, zero knowledge and data protection technology.
- Establish and iterate a content marketing strategy that effectively attracts potential partner and developer audiences.
- Work closely with Product Marketing and Developer Relations to ensure consistent messaging across all channels and assets.
Content Creation & Communications
- Work with colleagues to create compelling and relevant educational content about data protection, zero-knowledge and blockchain technology.
- Manage and build a blog editorial calendar that supports key narratives to target audiences; This included creating case studies, documenting use cases, and highlighting the projects and partners that are building with Midnight
- Curate and share relevant industry news, updates, and insights to keep our team and audience informed and engaged.
Analysis & Reporting
- Familiarize yourself with the best in class content marketing efforts throughout the web3 and blockchain industry.
- Report to the Marketing Team and Midnight Leadership on content performance KPIs, and make recommendations for where we can improve or invest further to reach key business objectives.
- Recommend potential marketing channels or messages which present a strong opportunity to engage existing and prospective Midnight audiences.
Collaborations and Partnerships
- Support external communications for partnerships, co-marketing and press releases that could increase reach or benefit the Midnight’s products and community.
- Work with the Midnight Advisory Board (respected thought leaders and practitioners in the areas of Blockchain, cryptography and data protection) to ideate on unique and compelling content that makes use of their unique experience and perspectives.
Requirements
Key Competencies
- Have strong knowledge of content marketing best practices and apply them to identify and engage relevant audiences for Midnight.
- Deep understanding of relevant content to technical audiences, such as developers, engineers, IT professionals, etc.

Your Mission:As Content Lead, you will serve as our Editor in Chief for our in-app feeds and content. Your mission is to be in on the detail, and to oversee the design and delivery of bold, learning campaign experiences that educate, engage, and upskill a 3M+ GenZ user-base.
