As a Web Developer at TSD, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining responsive web applications using HTML and CSS. You will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to bring our clients' vision to life. In addition, you will ensure that the web applications are optimized for performance and accessibility.
Our tech stack primarily includes HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and we expect you to have strong expertise in these languages. Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus. You will work in an agile development environment, participating in daily stand-ups and collaborating with team members using tools like Slack and Git.
This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. Our team is spread all over the world, and we've been successfully working remotely for over 10 years.
Requirements
Full-time role (37.5hrs pw), fully remote, Web Developer with expertise in HTML and CSS, knowledge in frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS are a plus, but a core understanding of pure CSS is essential . A strong understanding of web development best practices, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility is required.
Key Requirements:
- Extremely Proficient in HTML and vanilla CSS
- A Good Understanding of JavaScript or Typescript and the differences between ES5 and ES6, along with limitations when working with older browsers
- Comfortable working on views inside CMS systems such as Umbraco, Sitefinity and DynamicWeb and also able to cope with the challenges these systems pose compared to vanilla front-end development
- Experience working with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is a bonus
- Experience working with server-side JavaScript frameworks such as next.js and nuxt.js is a bonus
- Experience working with utility frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS is a bonus
- Experience working with pre-processor languages for CSS such as SaSS and Less would be beneficial
- Comfortable working with .NET Razor templates and MVC applications would be beneficial
- Understanding how to work with of Partial Views in and View Components in a .NET application would be beneficial
- Good Working knowledge of tools such as Vite and Webpack
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility and testing
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with design and development teams
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
