About the Role

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Services team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers—helping with enquiries, resolving service issues, and ensuring every customer enjoys a positive experience with our products and services.

What You’ll Do

  • Respond to customer enquiries through phone, email, chat, social media, and our ticketing system.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, billing, and technical support.
  • Guide customers through their order journey, including upgrades, cancellations, and account changes.
  • Log and manage all interactions using CRM software.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure full resolution and satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed performance targets including response times, customer satisfaction, and first-time resolution.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the customer experience.
  • Stay up to date with company products, promotions, and policy changes.

About You

You’re someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and takes pride in delivering great service. You’re patient, empathetic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring a mix of customer focus, communication skills, and technical know-how to the role.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within the utilities or telecoms sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a calm and patient approach.
  • Understanding of FTTx products , fibre broadband, and home router connectivity.
  • Experience using CRM or service desk systems.
  • Flexible to work within contact centre operating hours.
  • Team player with a positive, customer-first attitude.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in telecoms , especially fibre broadband products.
  • Customer Service NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification.
  • Background in a Service Support environment.
  • Sales or upselling experience.
  • Proficient with computer systems and telecommunications technology.

You’ll have the right conversations to fully understand customer needs, taking personal ownership of each interaction, understanding their unique situations, and responding with efficiency, professionalism, and knowledge to maintain our reputation and build confidence in our products and services.

Our products include Trading Accounts, Stocks & Shares ISAs, and SIPP accounts, which help our customers take control of their own pension.

We provide the tools and trading platform to enable our clients to make confident, informed investment decisions. We are proud of our excellent customer service, and our fair, simple, and transparent products are what set us head and shoulders above the rest.

You’ll be working on highly complex customer queries relating to our products, which require high standards and attention to detail to ensure our customers are getting the experience that they expect and deserve. The position requires managing multiple tasks simultaneously, alongside the typical pressures associated with a busy contact centre environment. Therefore, resilience and the ability to remain composed under pressure are essential qualities for success in this role.

In this role, no two days will be the same. You’ll be building relationships with new people every day.

Progression:

Our comprehensive induction to your new career at ii will set you up to be successful, with ongoing support from your team lead. We offer a 3 tiered progression opportunity based on performance, which allows for career growth, progression and renumeration.

The role requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a varied shift pattern including:

  • 7:45–16:15
  • 8:30–17:00
  • 9:00–17:30
  • 9:15–17:45 (on a rotational basis)

Once trained in international dealing, every 8 weeks you will work one week on a 12:30 pm–9:00 pm shift (this may be subject to change depending on business needs).

Please note: The successful candidate will start on Monday, 24th November 2025.

  • Be customer-focused, so candidates must have experience in a contact centre environment working on complex products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Processing: Accurately assess and process customer claims, ensuring compliance and fraud prevention.
  • Customer Support: Provide first-class service across multiple channels including phone, email, live chat, post, and social media.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update customer records with precision and care.
  • Credit Control: Reconcile payments, manage ledgers, and apply effective credit control measures.
  • Sensitive Interactions: Handle vulnerable situations and policy closures with empathy and professionalism.
  • Digital Engagement: Encourage customers to adopt digital platforms for easier access to services.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Follow data protection procedures and report breaches promptly.

Join Our Team as a Customer Service Administrator!

We are seeking a cheerful and dedicated Customer Service Administrator to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent for the right person


Salary: 23,000pa - 25,000pa dependant on experience

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)

(2 days working from home when fully trained)

What You'll Do:


As our Customer Service Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their queries are handled with care and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding promptly to consumer queries.
  • Managing customer credits with accuracy.
  • Obtaining Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.
  • prioritising and addressing customer complaints with professionalism.
  • Escalating issues internally when necessary.
  • Overseeing switchboard operations.
  • Handling sample requests for various teams.
  • Assisting in the production of weekly and monthly reports.
  • Performing franking machine duties.
  • Supporting other departments with general administration tasks.

What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following knowledge and characteristics:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an Administration role.
  • Proficiency in working with database systems.
  • Strong office and Excel skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
