Data Governance and Quality Sales Specialist
We are looking for a Data Governance and Quality Sales Specialist to join our team in Maidenhead, United Kingdom. You will report into our VP of Platform Sales working with a global team of Sales Specialists. This is the right time and place for Account Executives with knowledge of data integration technology, master data management and process automation. You will create multiple transactions within our largest Enterprise Accounts while creating satisfied customers. You will use your strategic management skills and solid business-to-business sales experience to exceed quota and reap the compensation benefits for doing so.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
  • Your job is to increase revenue by managing relationships with both our customers and qualified prospects and with our main partners. You will also focus on partnering with the Informatica Field Representative to Grow Informatica Cloud Sales. You will track your progress and forecast your sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce.com.
What We'd Like to See
  • 5+ years of quota carrying software (SaaS experience preferred) or technology sales and account management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a data governance, data quality or a similar role.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles from business champion to the CEO/CFO level.
Role Essentials
  • Earnings in past Account Executive roles while carrying a minimum $ 1M quota.

About the role



In this busy and exciting role, you will become a subject matter expert, working within the Data & Reporting team of Group IT. You will report to the Data and Reporting Solution Architect with responsibility for enhancing / maintaining the quality of data assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to retirement, focusing on SAP for Finance (OTC, R2R & P2P).

As a technical specialist, you will be the primary advocate for data quality, offering expert guidance and direction in the areas relating to data governance and data quality management - this includes developing and implementing data quality frameworks, designing, and deploying data quality solutions and rules, and conducting testing and training activities.

You will be collaborating closely with key business stakeholders to understand their data quality requirements and objectives and translate them into actionable outputs, whilst maintaining a comprehensive understanding of data quality tools, techniques, and emerging technologies.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and recommendations for evolving data quality standards / practices and will work closely with IT Leads and Business Data Stewards / Owners to ensure alignment between data quality initiatives and the broader strategies of Application Transformation and Data and Reporting governance.

About you



Ideally, you will be educated to bachelor's degree level or hold a relevant professional or IT qualification - including relevant certifications associated with data management, data governance or data analysis.

Data Migration experience, particularly with ERPs including SAP S/4Hana, coupled with experience in data structures and functionalities with a preference towards the finance and supply chain transformation capabilities - will be key.

You will preferably have firsthand experience of using SAP Migration Cockpit for cleansing activities coupled with knowledge of working within initiatives aimed at centralising or governing historically federated data. Additional knowledge of working with Microsoft Azure technologies to achieve similar aims would be advantageous.

The role

Join Natural Resources Wales at the forefront of water planning. As part of our Sustainable Water and Nature team, you'll lead the development of a powerful new tool that brings together data from water bodies and protected areas like Bathing Waters—turning complex information into clear insights that drive real environmental outcomes.

You'll design and deliver an integrated reporting, analysis, and mapping system that works across NRW's ICT platforms, enabling fast, evidence-based assessments. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll help build trust in our data, improve transparency, and spark meaningful collaboration.

This is an exciting time in this work area with focus on continued delivery of major projects including cycle 4 RBMPs and PR29, plus understanding and implementing the changes required by new Policy and legislation.

As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.

About us

This role sits in the Integrated Water Planning Team which plays a vital role in coordinating water policy and action across Wales. This team covers key areas including River Basin Management Plans (RBMPs), the Water Framework Directive, the National Environment Programme, chemicals, hydromorphology, and programme delivery of the water quality and fisheries Nature and Climate Emergency Fund.

This role is essential in aligning national water planning with on-the-ground action to tackle environmental impacts. Based within Environment, Policy and Permitting, you'll report to the Integrated Water Planning Team Leader as part of the Sustainable Water and Nature Group. Your role will involve liaising with operational and technical staff, plus engaging directly with stakeholders to ensure water planning is evidence-based, forward-looking, and effectively delivered.

What you will do

  • Maintain tools and applications that manage the flow, integrity and integration of NRW data assets as data moves between applications and new applications are developed. 
  • Lead on the development of operational reporting for water and protected areas to build dashboards, reports and operational views of our data so that it supports SMNR and informs operational decisions and policy development.
  • Audit all current data quality processes across within water and protected areas and identify gaps and opportunities to develop best practice for data quality techniques.
  • Carry out complex data analysis, evidence synthesis, and interpretation to inform and influence NRW's strategic direction for water and protected area monitoring, implementation of actions, and to provide quality-assured outputs for inclusion in national environmental reports and indicators including SoNaRR, WFD and Habitats Directive Article 17.
  • Import, export, transform, validate and quality assure NRW data following NRW/industry standards. This will be across a variety of data themes, data formats and from a range of IT applications. 
  • Work with NRW data custodians and specialists in the master data team to help define, manage, check and audit NRW's corporate data standards. This includes the writing of scripts to help with quality checking. 
  • Interact with a range of government, agency and partner bodies working on analytical projects relating to monitoring and environmental reporting at Wales and UK levels.
  • Create operational reports, dashboards and business views of our data to meet operational needs. 
  • Lead on the delivery of improvement projects and solutions by contributing to the specification, testing and service introduction of new solutions for water and protected areas. 
  • Represent Integrated Water Planning in relevant task and finish groups, networks and governance groups. 
  • Undertake health and safety duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post

About us

This role sits in the Integrated Water Planning Team which plays a vital role in coordinating water policy and action across Wales. This team covers key areas including River Basin Management Plans (RBMPs), the Water Framework Directive, the National Environment Programme, chemicals, hydromorphology, and programme delivery of the water quality and fisheries Nature and Climate Emergency Fund.

This role is essential in aligning national water planning with on-the-ground action to tackle environmental impacts. Based within Environment, Policy and Permitting, you'll report to the Integrated Water Planning Team Leader as part of the Sustainable Water and Nature Group. Your role will involve liaising with operational and technical staff, plus engaging directly with stakeholders to ensure water planning is evidence-based, forward-looking, and effectively delivered.

What you will do

  • Maintain tools and applications that manage the flow, integrity and integration of NRW data assets as data moves between applications and new applications are developed. 
  • Lead on the development of operational reporting for water and protected areas to build dashboards, reports and operational views of our data so that it supports SMNR and informs operational decisions and policy development.
  • Audit all current data quality processes across within water and protected areas and identify gaps and opportunities to develop best practice for data quality techniques.
  • Carry out complex data analysis, evidence synthesis, and interpretation to inform and influence NRW's strategic direction for water and protected area monitoring, implementation of actions, and to provide quality-assured outputs for inclusion in national environmental reports and indicators including SoNaRR, WFD and Habitats Directive Article 17.
  • Import, export, transform, validate and quality assure NRW data following NRW/industry standards. This will be across a variety of data themes, data formats and from a range of IT applications. 
  • Work with NRW data custodians and specialists in the master data team to help define, manage, check and audit NRW's corporate data standards. This includes the writing of scripts to help with quality checking. 
  • Interact with a range of government, agency and partner bodies working on analytical projects relating to monitoring and environmental reporting at Wales and UK levels.
  • Create operational reports, dashboards and business views of our data to meet operational needs. 
  • Lead on the delivery of improvement projects and solutions by contributing to the specification, testing and service introduction of new solutions for water and protected areas. 
  • Represent Integrated Water Planning in relevant task and finish groups, networks and governance groups. 
  • Undertake health and safety duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post

**Role Overview**
The Data Quality Lead Analyst contributes to efforts to ensure data that is sourced and provisioned meet all required data quality standards. The Data Quality Lead Analyst leads the continuous Data Quality improvement by assessing, evaluating and analyzing data, setting controls and guidelines for measurement, evaluation, adoption and communication of Data Quality and Data Quality risk. **Responsibilities:**

**Qualifications:**
+ 6-10 years experience with defining and implementing Data Quality programs; Banking or Finance industry preferred
+ Experience and understanding of data governance and data quality methodologies, with strong knowledge of structured/unstructured databases, data modelling, data management, rapid/iterative development methodologies, and data governance tools.
+ Demonstrated relationship management and advisory skills with sponsors, key stakeholders, partners, and team members in both business and technology forums, with ability to collaborate and build partnerships across teams and the organization.
+ Good presentation skills, business and technical writing, and verbal communication skills to support decision-making and actions.
+ Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to recognize and comprehend complex data flow and designs.
+ Self-motivated and able to dynamically determine priorities, take ownership of tasks and facilitate discussions to meet shared objectives.
+ Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders.
