The manager upholds staffing levels, supports volunteers and students, and manages performance and conduct issues where necessary. Your duties will include:

*Providing care and support to young people
*Providing guidance and help

*Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
*Helping with activities, education and daily living tasks
*Helping children to settle into the service
*Helping with preparation for leaving care services

To be considered for this great role you must have experience of working with and supporting children on the autism spectrum. As this is a senior role it is essential that you hold Level 3 Children and Young People and you will be a driver. You will need to be patient, understanding and be able to build rapport and relationships with vulnerable young people.

TeacherActive is offering an amazing job opportunity for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a Private Nursery located in Coventry on a permanent basis.  The Deputy Nursery Manager will have a proven track record of being able to lead a team and garner results. The setting provides many learning opportunities for the children to learn new skills, providing activities that stimulate their interests and develop key cognitive and motor skills. The Deputy Nursery manager will need to be qualified, reliable and possess a energetic and positive attitude. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working within/managing a nursery setting
  • Ability to provide support to staff, children and parents
  • Strong management skills
  • Possess an enthusiastic and motivational attitude
  • Have strong organisational skills
