As this is a customer facing role, good communication skills are also essential.

• Execute timely and efficient delivery of goods to various business and residential locations across London.
• Operate large goods vehicles (LGVs) safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company regulations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, addressing any client queries or concerns professionally.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs using company-provided devices.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior delivery drivers, sharing best practices and route knowledge.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, including manual handling procedures.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

• Valid UK LGV C+E (Class 1) or C (Class 2) driving license.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a metropolitan area like London.
• Proven track record of safe driving, with a clean driving license and no major endorsements.
• Excellent knowledge of the London road network, including major routes and traffic patterns.
• Strong customer service skills and a polite, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
