For a large company based in the Leicester area You'll be responsible for all aspects of preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance across a range of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency.

Qualifications preferred should be an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, with experience in a similar role. Familiarity with technical manuals, schematics and drawings. To be able to work independently or part of a team.

Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am and 5.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to SFG20 standards on:
• HVAC systems
• UPS systems
• RCDs and PAT testing
• Lighting systems
• LEV and fume cupboards - filters
• Boilers and air compressors

• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to reduce downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and proactive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new systems and equipment.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (tablet-based, training provided).
• Manage critical spare parts and ensure effective inventory control.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and performance initiatives.
