We're looking for an experienced Electrician Technician to join a prominent Manufacturing company located in the Goole area. This role offers an hourly rate of up to 20.97, with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. As a Electrician Technician , your responsibilities will include performing installations and maintaining supplies and systems. Electrician Technician Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus in systems, including LV circuits, motors, power, and lighting, using test equipment.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader/Instrument Control Manager to implement an effective preventive maintenance program for all electrical components and systems.
• Work with other engineers to coordinate the installation of specialised components, ensuring project completion.
• Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's installation guidelines to complete electrical projects.

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates to have a strong knowledge of PLCs, 3 Phase motors, fault finding & trouble shooting on industrial control systems and understanding of drawings. Your new role

• Strong practical knowledge of conveyor systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating machinery.
• Diagnostic and fault-finding skills using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with Permit to Work systems and incident reporting procedures.
• Desirable: Knowledge of PLCs, drive control systems, HV networks, and CMMS platforms such as SAP.
• Understanding of maintenance strategies like RCM, PM, CBM, and TPM.
• A full, valid UK driving licence.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience of working in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries, or other FMCG environment. Ideally with some experience of automation and industrial controls.

You will be joining a well-established team in a day shift-based role on a site that operates Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm with requirements to cover critical call outs on a rota basis (currently 1 in 4 weeks)

In this role you will cover a wide range of responsibilities ranging from routine electrical testing of the installed equipment, routine planned maintenance tasks on industrial processing equipment and supporting services, dealing with unplanned events on equipment, driving reliability improvements, and building the site in house skills to deal with industrial process control systems such as PLC systems, variable speed motor drives and industrial controls.

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

• Conducting routine planned maintenance tasks, on production equipment and commercial/industrial installations.
