Commercial / Industrial Property Maintenance

Salary: Up to 40,000 Basic + Overtime + Shift Allowance + Fully Expensed Company Van + Benefits
Location: Reading - Slough (Regional coverage within a 50-mile radius)
Hours: Various shifts (premium rates paid for unsocial working hours)

Following inspection by a Test & Inspection Engineer, our electricians play a vital role in carrying out any required upgrades or repairs. This role demands adaptability and practical problem-solving skills.

The team of field electricians are essential and represent the company's professional image on-site. These are permanent positions with plenty of available overtime for those who want it.

You will support the Maintenance & Repairs team, covering the Bath, Bristol, Taunton region. Work is planned in advance and managed through your dedicated works coordinator, ensuring you have the support you need and regular contact with both clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical remedial works in commercial and industrial environments.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.

• Communicate effectively with clients: explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.

• Take part in ongoing training and professional development.

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified electrician.

• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) in Inspection and Testing.

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

• Strong understanding of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and relevant standards.

• Experience with electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own time.

• Valid UK driving licence.

Electricians Mate/Improver required to fit and fix new installs for shop fittings & restaurants in and around Windsor.

Working hours are 8am-4pm - there may be some projects that are nights but mainly days so you must be flexible.

1. You will work for 4 weeks first and if all good there will be plenty of work thereafter. you MUST be reliable, turn up every shift and graft hard
2. You must have your own transportand tools. You will be working with a qualified Spark so you must be able to work well together and get on.
3. You must also have your ECS Card, own UTR number under sole trader CIS Scheme.
