They are currently looking for skilled and qualified electricians mates with the below qualifications

Working hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm

We require an electriciansmate for a large commercial site in Halifax, you will be working on general install work - containment etc.

You must have a valid ECS card and previous experience.

Job Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have a strong background in Food/FMCG engineering and be accustomed to fast paced environments.

• Work in partnership with the Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery.
• PLC fault finding skills
• Multi-skilled with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude. 
li>Responding to break downs and reactive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery.
• Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.

Person Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Time served Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably from the Food/FMCG Industry
• Recognised Engineering qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND
• Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments
• Working knowledge of PLCs
• Working experience within highly automated environments

Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Role Description

- Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer

- Planned & Reactive Maintenance

- Reduce reactive work (breakdowns, repairs)

- Some facilities involved

- Hydraulics & Pneumatics

- Mixers, Ovens, Proofers

- Conveyors, Belts, Vacuums

- Packaging Machinery

- Cooling, Cutting & Slicing Machinery

Skills and Qualifications

- FMCG Experience

- Elec and/or Mech Quals (NVQ LV3+)

- Food Experience (Desirable)

- 2 Years Experience

- Health & Safety Compliant
