Job Description
Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
Heavy Industry | Rotating Days & Nights | Solid Team, Great Manager
This isn’t the kind of place where you’re fixing jammed coffee machines.
It’s heavy industry — where the equipment’s bigger, louder, and built to take a beating.
You’ll be the kind of engineer who’s more comfortable with your head in a panel than behind a laptop. Fault-finding’s second nature. So is staying calm when a motor trips mid-run and everyone’s looking at you like you’re the only thing standing between them and a full stop.
You’ll be on a rotating days and nights shift , but it’s well structured — and you’ve got a genuinely respected Engineering Manager leading the charge. Knows the plant, knows the people, and actually backs his team to do the job right.
What you’ll need:-
An electrical bias (Level 3 or equivalent)
-
Heavy industry, manufacturing or similar background
-
Experience with 3-phase, motors, inverters, and control systems
-
A bit of mechanical know-how helps — but electrical is your thing
-
A role where you’re trusted to get on with it
-
A manager who’ll give you time, tools, and backing
-
A site that’s investing in the right areas, not papering over the cracks
If you’re done with micro-management, and want to work somewhere where your skills actually count for something — let’s talk.
