Electricians Mate required for 6 months+ on site within grounds of Airbus Broughton (CH4 0DR)

Must have a minimum of 2 years on site experience working as an Electricians Mate in a commercial/industrial setting and hold a current ECS Card. Asbestos certificate essential on site also.

Weekly hours are 40 Monday to Friday and hourly contract rate is £19.50.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician with an understanding of mechanical systems to join our busy engineering team in Peterborough on a high-profile corporate site

Shift Rota = 4 days on, 4 days off (Block of 3) & 5 days on, 3 days off (Block of 4). 10 Hours per Shift.

As our onsite Electrician you will have experience of reactive maintenance and planned maintenance scheduling a.

• Respond to reactive maintenance requests across multiple sites within agreed SLAs.

• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, including UPS, distribution boards, and lighting.

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Carry out testing and inspection of electrical installations and equipment.

• Perform minor installation works and upgrades as required.

• Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including risk assessments and method statements.

• Liaise with site contacts and the Technical Services Manager to escalate urgent issues.

• Participate in an on-call rota for emergency response and out-of-hours support.

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

• Monitor and report on the condition of critical equipment and environmental factors.

• Use handheld devices and internal systems to log jobs, quotes, and remedial actions.

• 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within commercial or industrial environments.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
