The EMEA Security Control Centre (ESCC) plays a vital role in this mission by serving as the central command hub for real-time monitoring, incident escalation, response coordination, and critical security communications across the region. Operating around the clock, the ESCC integrates cutting-edge technology with expert personnel to deliver proactive and effective security outcomes across Disney’s diverse EMEA footprint.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic ESCC Manager to lead this multi-functional control centre, shaping its day-to-day operations, systems integration, and team development. The successful candidate will bring expertise in incident response, situational awareness, and stakeholder engagement, while fostering innovation and compliance across a high-performing environment. This role is key to ensuring a resilient and responsive security infrastructure across our regional operations.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
ESCC Leadership & Operations
- Provide strategic oversight and daily management of the ESCC’s real-time monitoring and incident response operations across EMEA
- Ensure all security incidents are responded to, escalated, and reported in line with policies, procedures, and service-level expectations
- Maintain working knowledge of Disney’s global security platforms (e.g. CCTV, EACS, IDS, Dataminr, Everbridge) and ensure their effective use
- Lead failover readiness planning and scenario testing to ensure business continuity during unplanned disruptions
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of ESCC operators and supervisors, ensuring performance standards are consistently met
- Deliver regular training programs, performance reviews, and welfare support to create a motivated, skilled, and resilient workforce
- Drive succession planning and staff development strategies, reducing turnover and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Serve as the central point of contact for key stakeholder groups including Security Systems, Intelligence, Compliance, Real Estate, and EMEA Security Managers
- Represent ESCC capabilities during internal briefings, audits, and external visits, delivering concise overviews and promoting understanding of the centre’s functions
- Ensure alignment with other TWDC Security Operations Centers (GSCC, ASCC) and facilitate cross-regional coordination as required
- Collaborate with the Security Systems team on issue reporting, upgrades, UAT testing, and the evaluation of new platforms or tools
- Log and manage system-related issues and enhancements, driving continuous improvement in technology usage
- Actively contribute to the refinement of ESCC SOPs, escalation workflows, and decision trees in response to evolving threat types and business requirements
- Ensure GDPR, health & safety, and regulatory compliance across all ESCC data processing, surveillance, and incident documentation activities
- Liaise with the Intelligence team to enhance situational awareness and support proactive threat identification and mitigation
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and business lines when required, ensuring appropriate data handling and communication protocols are followed
- Develop and track performance metrics (KPIs) for ESCC operations, using data to inform improvements and ensure accountability
- Lead post-incident reviews and debriefs, identifying lessons learned and implementing changes where appropriate
- Oversee all administrative functions, including report writing, shift planning, training documentation, and audit trail maintenance
- Manage vendor relationships for key holding and response services across EMEA, ensuring consistent operational support during system failures
- Coordinate with local facilities, using translation services as needed, to resolve site-level issues and communicate effectively across languages
- Lead regular contract and service reviews to ensure SLAs are met and delivery remains aligned with Disney’s security standards
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a security-related field (private or public sector) with exposure to real-time monitoring, emergency response, or control room environments
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing teams within complex, high-pressure environments
- Strong understanding of physical security systems, operations, and technologies (e.g. CCTV, EACS, IDS)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multi-stakeholder relationships across functions and regions
- Deep knowledge of data protection, compliance, and health & safety requirements in a security context
- Bachelor's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field
- Professional security certifications (e.g. CPP, PSP, MSyI)
- Fluency or working knowledge of a local language spoken in Asia or EMEA is an asset
- Experience working within a large multinational or corporate enterprise
- Proactive leader with high emotional intelligence and sound judgment
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments

Our client is a leading aircraft manufacturing company who specialise in the aviation, space, and defence sectors.
Rate of Pay: 29.89 per hour PAYE or 40.00 per hour Umbrella
Working hours: Straight days - 5 on,5 off, 4 on and then repeats
Hours 06:30 - 19:00
12.5hrs per shift with a 30 min unpaid break
MCC Engineer Tasks and Accountabilities
* MCC are the focal point at the heart of the operation, empowered to make decisions and with clear escalation pathways to ensure continued operations.
* You will report serviceability states of the forward fleet on a company and customer level by means of distributed status reports.
* You will drumbeat the recovery of AOG aircraft at MOB and Deployed
* You will liaise with other AIOC team members to ensure that aircraft are quickly and effectively recovered.
* These include Logistics, Fleet Tasking and Availability Management and Short Term Planning.
* The Minimum Operational & Safety Equipment List (MOSEL) and Acceptable Deferred Faults (ADF's) shall be logged and continuously monitored to ensure any Calendar/Hours/Cycles limitations are not exceeded, and that any operational restrictions are notified to FTAM.
* You will maintain communication with the Pt.145 Line Supervisors WRT serviceability states and readiness levels at Main Operating Base (MOB)
* You will monitor the co-ordination and progress of aircraft, man power, spares and facilities for tasks accomplished by the Part 145 maintenance organisations and the scheduled accomplishment of all routine maintenance tasks, including the requirement for specialist facilities or working parties, providing escalation pathways as issues are identified.
* In the event of a significant change to the available fleet or AOG situation, the MCC Engineer shall immediately inform the HO AIOC, if out of office hours the Duty Airbus Exec, DEOC, RAF DExO, FTAM and liaise with the Part 145 maintenance organisation to assist with the recovery of the aircraft by means of conference calls or 'Tiger Team' meetings.
* In the event of a major incident, you shall enact the Business Continuity Plan and the RAF Crash and Disaster Plan until relieved by a senior responsible person.
* The MCC Engineer shall also liaise with external resources and or Spares/Tooling as may be necessary to achieve a fast, safe and economic recovery and return of the aircraft to service RAF Stakeholders (DExO, DEOC) shall be informed of any delays, change of tasking details WRT airframe swaps or cancellations at the earliest convenience by call and email.
* You will provide out of hours cover with regards to raising in service event reports (ISER's), notices to crew, Fleet Tasking prioritisation, receiving Technical Queries and requesting AMTAC technical assistance for Work Stop or AOG situations.
* You are approved to raise, register and manage applications for Concessions rectification, interval extension and aircraft cannibalisation.
* The designated MCC Engineer shall provide deployed operational status information via the Daily Ops Brief and the Daily Escalation Brief . The MCC Engineer shall provide Daily Operational Priorities for Team Atlas.
* On completion of each shift the out-going MCC Engineers shall verbally brief the in-coming shift with any pertinent events on going, recently resolved and/or imminent problems which may have an impact on the operational fleet task lines.
* Providing Airbus Senior Leadership Team (SLT) stakeholders with required KPI data as and when required.
* Maintaining competence levels in line with continued development activities of the organisation and evolution of the aircraft
Skills & Experience
* Ideally hold either an EASA PT.66 engineers' licence or be able to demonstrate relevant experience and competence Knowledge of SFAR-88, EWIS and Human Factors.
* Be proficient in the use of the appropriate Communication and Information systems (Sharepoint, Q-Pulse, MDS, local databases etc.)
* Knowledge of Airbus systems and platforms are a real advantage
* Fluent (native) spoken and written English is essential
* Some military aviation experience is useful but not essential

Carbon 60 is looking for a Maintenance Control Centre Engineer to join a client of ours based on the Brize Norton site in Oxford. This is a contract role up until September 2026.
Our client is a leading aircraft manufacturing company who specialise in the aviation, space, and defence sectors.
Rate of Pay: 29.89 per hour PAYE or 40.00 per hour Umbrella
Working hours: Straight days - 5 on,5 off, 4 on and then repeats
Hours 06:30 - 19:00
12.5hrs per shift with a 30 min unpaid break
MCC Engineer Tasks and Accountabilities
* MCC are the focal point at the heart of the operation, empowered to make decisions and with clear escalation pathways to ensure continued operations.
* You will report serviceability states of the forward fleet on a company and customer level by means of distributed status reports.
* You will drumbeat the recovery of AOG aircraft at MOB and Deployed
* You will liaise with other AIOC team members to ensure that aircraft are quickly and effectively recovered.
* These include Logistics, Fleet Tasking and Availability Management and Short Term Planning.
* The Minimum Operational & Safety Equipment List (MOSEL) and Acceptable Deferred Faults (ADF's) shall be logged and continuously monitored to ensure any Calendar/Hours/Cycles limitations are not exceeded, and that any operational restrictions are notified to FTAM.
* You will maintain communication with the Pt.145 Line Supervisors WRT serviceability states and readiness levels at Main Operating Base (MOB)
* You will monitor the co-ordination and progress of aircraft, man power, spares and facilities for tasks accomplished by the Part 145 maintenance organisations and the scheduled accomplishment of all routine maintenance tasks, including the requirement for specialist facilities or working parties, providing escalation pathways as issues are identified.
* In the event of a significant change to the available fleet or AOG situation, the MCC Engineer shall immediately inform the HO AIOC, if out of office hours the Duty Airbus Exec, DEOC, RAF DExO, FTAM and liaise with the Part 145 maintenance organisation to assist with the recovery of the aircraft by means of conference calls or 'Tiger Team' meetings.
* In the event of a major incident, you shall enact the Business Continuity Plan and the RAF Crash and Disaster Plan until relieved by a senior responsible person.
* The MCC Engineer shall also liaise with external resources and or Spares/Tooling as may be necessary to achieve a fast, safe and economic recovery and return of the aircraft to service RAF Stakeholders (DExO, DEOC) shall be informed of any delays, change of tasking details WRT airframe swaps or cancellations at the earliest convenience by call and email.
* You will provide out of hours cover with regards to raising in service event reports (ISER's), notices to crew, Fleet Tasking prioritisation, receiving Technical Queries and requesting AMTAC technical assistance for Work Stop or AOG situations.
* You are approved to raise, register and manage applications for Concessions rectification, interval extension and aircraft cannibalisation.
* The designated MCC Engineer shall provide deployed operational status information via the Daily Ops Brief and the Daily Escalation Brief . The MCC Engineer shall provide Daily Operational Priorities for Team Atlas.
* On completion of each shift the out-going MCC Engineers shall verbally brief the in-coming shift with any pertinent events on going, recently resolved and/or imminent problems which may have an impact on the operational fleet task lines.
* Providing Airbus Senior Leadership Team (SLT) stakeholders with required KPI data as and when required.
* Maintaining competence levels in line with continued development activities of the organisation and evolution of the aircraft
Skills & Experience
* Ideally hold either an EASA PT.66 engineers' licence or be able to demonstrate relevant experience and competence Knowledge of SFAR-88, EWIS and Human Factors.
* Be proficient in the use of the appropriate Communication and Information systems (Sharepoint, Q-Pulse, MDS, local databases etc.)
* Knowledge of Airbus systems and platforms are a real advantage
* Fluent (native) spoken and written English is essential
* Some military aviation experience is useful but not essential
The requirements of the role require you to hold a UK passport or a passport issued by a country with which A400M has an export control licence and be able to satisfy the security clearance requirements necessary for access to a UK military establishment, and work in a security sensitive environment

About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Control Centre Engineer, where you'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring the smooth running and rapid recovery of our deployed aircraft fleet. You'll act as the single point of contact for technical and scheduling advice, making empowered decisions and escalating issues to keep our operations moving.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the central contact for fleet serviceability, providing technical guidance and scheduling support.
- Monitor and report aircraft status at both company and customer levels, ensuring timely updates and clear communication.
- Lead the recovery of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations, collaborating with logistics, fleet tasking, availability management, and planning teams.
- Track and manage operational and safety equipment lists, ensuring compliance with all limitations and restrictions.
- Liaise with maintenance supervisors and coordinate manpower, spares, and facilities for routine and specialist maintenance tasks.
- Escalate and resolve issues through established pathways, including conference calls and 'Tiger Team' meetings.
- Support business continuity and incident response plans in the event of major disruptions.
- Provide out-of-hours cover for event reporting, technical queries, and prioritisation of fleet tasks.
- Maintain operational status briefings and ensure seamless handovers between shifts.
- Deliver KPI data and operational priorities to senior leadership as required.
- Continuously develop your skills in line with organisational and aircraft evolution.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, ideally within a control centre environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and lead teams effectively.
- Strong understanding of maintenance scheduling and aircraft manuals.
- Confident communicator, able to brief teams and stakeholders.
- EASA PT.66 licence or equivalent experience and competence.
- Proficiency with communication and information systems (e.g., SharePoint, Q-Pulse, MDS).
