What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be setting up and maintaining devices, managing user issues, resolving network and server faults, and supporting on-site staff with whatever tech challenges come their way.
These are education-based environments, so a friendly, patient and professional approach is key. You’ll be part of a wider team, supported by a service desk that has your back and knows how to keep things moving.
What you’ll need:
- At least 3 years of experience in IT support, ideally in a field-based or on-site role
- Strong technical knowledge across Windows 11, Office 365, networking and Windows Server
- A calm, confident approach with the ability to explain things clearly to non-technical users
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Eligibility to pass a standard DBS check
- Experience with AV equipment, MIS platforms or cloud-based systems would be useful, but isn’t essential
- £28,000 to £32,0 starting salary depending on experience

Our client is a specialist in the design and manufacture of high integrity heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment for offshore oil and gas, nuclear, marine, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, process and energy sectors.
The Project Engineer works as part of a multi-discipline engineering project team. The Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of their allocated tasks within the project team, on time, to specification and within budget. To this end the Project Engineer performs a variety of tasks including, but not limited to: working to project deadlines, working closely with clients, manufacturing and other design functions.
The Project Engineer is willing to undertake further education and training to develop and further their competency levels.
Occasionally, it will be necessary to carry out some of their duties at client sites within the UK, offshore and internationally.
Duties ;
- Develop design work utilising computer-assisted design, AutoCAD and other software as required
- Design systems and equipment in line with UK and international standards and project specifications
- Improve design and production methods with a view to reduce procurement costs, production time and documentation costs
- Produce drawings to optimise the manufacturing process and minimise costs
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Create, implement and maintain project work plans to meet project requirements
- Check certification of components and materials are in line with project specification
- Peer check colleagues work before issuing for official review
- Minimise risk and exposure on projects
- Manage day to day operational aspects of the projects
- Take part in close out meetings.
- Assist in preparation of documentation / drawings for project tender
- Prioritise own workload in order to meet project / business needs
- Develop and maintain key contacts both internally and externally
- General duties as delegated within the overall range of the post.
- Produce project and production documentation
