Our client, a leading organization in the leisure and sports industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Event Logistics Coordinator. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to manage event logistics from anywhere in the UK, focusing on ensuring the seamless execution of various sporting and recreational events. You will be responsible for coordinating all logistical aspects, including venue booking, equipment sourcing, transportation arrangements, and on-site support planning. Your primary objective will be to ensure that events run smoothly, safely, and within budget, contributing to exceptional participant and spectator experiences.
Key responsibilities include liaising with venue managers, suppliers, and service providers to confirm bookings, arrange deliveries, and manage schedules. You will assist in developing event layouts, managing accreditation processes, and coordinating volunteer teams for event support. A strong understanding of event planning principles and excellent communication skills are vital for success in this role. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate records of all logistical arrangements, managing event documentation, and preparing post-event reports on logistical performance. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to multitask effectively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with event management software and a passion for the leisure and sports sector would be advantageous.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistical aspects of leisure and sports events, including venue management and scheduling.
- Source and manage external suppliers, vendors, and service providers.
- Arrange transportation and accommodation for staff, athletes, and equipment as needed.
- Develop and maintain detailed event documentation and logistical plans.
- Assist in the planning and execution of event layouts and setup.
- Manage accreditation and registration processes for participants and staff.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure all logistical requirements are met.
- Monitor event logistics during execution and provide on-site support coordination.
- Prepare post-event reports detailing logistical successes and areas for improvement.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in event coordination or logistics management, preferably within the sports or leisure industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- A passion for sports and leisure activities.
