EVENTS MANAGER Are you passionate about events and have experience producing events? Would you like a varied role that give you experience in with many elements of the events industry including marketing, film and logistics with travel around the world? The Company We are a small business creating educational events with well-known authors and public speakers in the UK, US, Canada and other global locations as well as marketing other products connected to spiritual development. We work a lot with speakers that talk about the bridges between science and spirituality and more details about our events can be found online here . Responsibilities You will be working with a small team working on managing and executing these tasks. · Planning and execution of events from budgets, venue sourcing and all pre and post-event items Production management for conferences, stand-alone theatre-style events, conferences and one-off shows internationally. Event strategy for global events. Managing vent logistics for conference-style events for staff and speakers alongside team other members. Management of live streaming working alongside our digital team. Management of bookings and itineraries for our speakers and staff. Managing stock and products to be sold at our events and logistics around this. Managing staff and events personnel including a small volunteer team. Management of PR and promotion for events. Working to ensure the online platform is maintained, current intuitive and in line with the event specifics. General assistance in the running and promoting of TCCHE events including to be at the events that may be held in other countries. Other related event tasks. Requirements Experience in the events industry with specific experience of conference event production. Good skills in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. Excellent organisational skills. Excellent logistic skills. Excellent communication skills with people, people person. Problem solving, common sense, keen intellect and can do attitude. Ability to work alone and from one’s own initiative. Good reading and writing skills as proof reading documents maybe required especially in English. Team player. Full driving license required. Bonus if you can speak French. Bonus for experience using WordPress preferred. Working hours Working hours are usually 9am to 5pm remotely plus work at the events at weekends where required. You may also be asked to work out of our office some days. Some office work may be required. You will also be required to travel to USA, Canada and other countries to manage our events. What to expect You will be dealing directly with customers, venues and possibly well-known people. Some travel during the day may be necessary. Travel to other parts of the world for our events will be essential. The position requires is a 5 day a week job working Monday to Friday.
