How you'll make a difference

As the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Executive Director for People, you will provide fully comprehensive and confidential business and administration support to the People Department. 

Ensuring a consistent and high-quality support is provided to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for line managing the PA Team, enabling them to have the capacity to support in key service delivery.
 


What you will be doing

  • It will be key for you to provide advice to customers, contacts, external organisations and colleagues, ensuring that they receive appropriate guidance about policies and procedures.
  • Day to day, you will carry out research, collate data and present information within your area of service specialism. This may include drafting documentation with clear, accessible findings.
  • It will be your responsibility to co-ordinate responses to queries, MP enquiries, complaints and requests from initial contact with the customer all within the allocated time frame. For issues which you may not be able to resolve, you will ensure they’re promptly relayed to more senior members and the customer is informed accordingly.
  • Providing a wide and varied range of administrative tasks, you will ensure written reports are compiled, support is provided, and records are accurate which will help to inform decision making.
  • You will set up meetings, format agendas, send out meeting papers and where necessary attend to take the minutes. 

What we need from you

  • Given the elements of the role, you must be able to communicate effectively to service users, professionals and partnership agencies using a variety of media.
  • You can demonstrate IT knowledge and its practical application, including experience of using Microsoft Office.
  • It is essential that you have experience in using databases, including running standard reports, analysing data and presenting findings.
  • You must have experience of basic financial procedures e.g. petty cash, invoicing etc.
  • Ideally, you will have a NVQ level 3 management qualification or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge, in business administration/administration services.

In 2019, Stone Circle was created as a wholly owned subsidiary of Wiltshire Council for the benefit of Wiltshire residents with the aim to provide quality affordable housing in the heart of Wiltshire. Stone Circle Housing Company purchases residential property which is rented in a way that meets the housing needs for residents in Wiltshire, who do not choose to be Council house tenants but cannot afford private sector rents. Stone Circle Development Company undertakes residential development on surplus sites of Wiltshire Council.

Stone Circle's Vision: Our aim is to work with Wiltshire Council and the private sector to deliver good quality homes within the community that anyone can afford.

We have the following roles available:
  • Non-Executive Director - Stone Circle Holding Company £,000 per annum
  • Non-Executive Director - Stone Circle Housing Company ,000 per annum

We would like to appoint two individuals at this point, we envisage one of the appointments covering both companies as well as chairing the Risk and Audit Committee, the other covering Stone Circle Housing Company and ideally with a background in Housing Management. We will also be looking to appoint a tenant representative to the Housing Company Board to ensure our tenants' voices are heard as we develop and grow.

These opportunities have arisen with the retirement of directors who have led the companies in their "start-up" and early delivery phases. An ambitious new business plan including increasing the current Housing portfolio of 187 units by 100 units per annum is the right time for new Non-Executive Directors to shape how the companies deliver at pace.

The Role

As the Head of Structural Biology, you will have the opportunity to lead a high-performing team and drive the growth of our structure-based design capabilities across drug discovery portfolios. Working at the intersection of experimental structural biology, drug design, AI, physics, and informatics, you will be responsible for building technical solutions that increase the quality and efficiency of our design capability.

Please note this is a UK-based hybrid role and regular travel is required to our offices in Oxford, UK (approximately 2-3 days per week), with flexibility to work from home in the UK the remaining time. You will have the opportunity to: 

  • Design industry leading strategies which enable structure-based design and the development of molecules to advance our drug discovery portfolio.

Requirements

Essential skills:

  • PhD in Structural Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Computational Sciences, or a related subject area.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in an industry setting, with particular focus on small molecules.
  • Proven ability to build and lead highly functioning cross-functional teams of scientists.
  • Experience with one or multiple structural biology techniques (e.g. X-ray and Cryo-EM, NMR or HDX-MS) and computationally literate to build computational pipelines.
  • Track record in protein sciences and experience working with a broad range of protein types.
  • Proven experience automating processes either in silico or experimental and the diagnostics needed to do so.
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion for fostering a collaborative work environment and ability to work productively with others.
  • Demonstrated scientific track record in publications, patent applications, conference posters, or oral presentations.

Desirable skills:

  • Familiarity with small molecule drug discovery projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fulfil all statutory duties of a director under the Companies Act

  • Actively participate in Board meetings and relevant committee sessions

  • Provide strategic insight and sector expertise to the Chief Executive, Managing Director , and Executive Directors

  • Contribute to working groups, subsidiary boards, and advisory panels as required

  • Support the Board in setting clear organisational objectives and monitor performance against them

  • Participate in the development of company policy and strategy , including contributing to position papers and briefings

  • Undertake relevant research and analytical reviews to support strategic decisions

**About this role:**
Our Corporate & Investment Banking Front Office Quantitative Model Development Team is undergoing a strategic buildout initiative to enhance our capabilities in delivering high-quality quantitative solutions to our trading and sales partners. As our platform continues to grow, we are expanding our modeling coverage to include a broader range of products and methodologies.
Wells Fargo is seeking candidates for the role of Senior Lead Securities Quantitative Analytics Specialist, an Executive Director level position within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) organization. The successful candidate will join a team focused on developing and implementing advanced quantitative models and tools for interest rates risk management, trading, and pricing. This includes work on linear and non-linear rates products, hybrids, exotics, repack structures, and stochastic funding models, with a strong emphasis on term structure modeling and volatility modeling frameworks such as SABR.
This role is part of a strategic initiative to build new models that will be integrated into a holistic, cross-asset quantitative risk and trading platform. The work will be led by the Front Office Interest Rates Quant group and will involve close collaboration with other asset class teams within CIB.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
+ Design, development, and implementation of quantitative models for interest rates, hybrids, exotics, and repack products, including pricing, risk management, and trading strategy support.
+ Develop and deploy optimization-based curve construction and term structure models, including multi-curve frameworks and stochastic volatility surface models such as SABR.
+ Build and calibrate stochastic funding models to support liquidity-sensitive pricing and risk analytics.
+ Collaborate with other Quants to ensure robust software design, implementation, and performance optimization.
+ Partner effectively with Business Stakeholders, Sales & Trading, Technology, and Project Management teams.
+ Deliver high-quality software and documentation aligned with Agile-based SDLC processes.
+ Provide model support to the trading desk, including troubleshooting and enhancements.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Lead complex software design and development efforts in an Agile environment.
+ Contribute to large-scale project planning, balancing tactical deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
+ Apply quantitative techniques and advanced technologies to solve sophisticated business problems.
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
+ Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to resolve issues and drive consensus.
+ Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of technical excellence.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Experience in Securities Quantitative Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ Experience in Securities Quantitative Analytics in Rates / Macro products or equivalent.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Strong hands-on coding experience in C++, Java, and Python, with a focus on numerical optimization and performance.
+ Deep understanding of derivative products and markets, particularly in interest rates and foreign exchange.
+ Experience with modeling and pricing of hybrid, exotic, and repack instruments.
+ Expertise in term structure modeling, stochastic funding, and volatility modeling, including SABR and related frameworks.
+ Proven experience working with Sales and Trading as a front office quant.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Finance, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
