The field service engineer will undertake machine installations, maintenance and repair work throughout Southern England.
The Role:
Reporting to service manager you will be responsible for mechanical and basic 3-phase electrical service and repair of commercial vehicle wash equipment.

Job purpose:
To enable the Company to achieve the agreed contractual standard of service required by completing initial training in the workshop reconditioning wheelchair equipment to gain essential product knowledge. On completion of initial training this will enable you to work out in the field delivering, collecting, repairing, and servicing wheelchairs. The expectation is that once fully trained most jobs will be completed on a first-time fix basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering and collecting wheelchairs to and from service user’s homes and NHS departments, always ensuring that the Company Infection Control Policy is followed.
- Servicing and repairing wheelchairs in the field with the aim of achieving a first time fix whenever possible.
- Ensure all paperwork relating to each job is read carefully and completed with all the necessary information regarding parts used and action taken written onto the job card to enable the administration team to accurately update the data base.
- Ensure any PPE supplied for use in carrying out your duties is used as instructed.
