Programme Essentials

What will I be doing?
Reporting to the Creative Operations Manager, the successful candidate will assist in the smooth daily operation of a very busy post-production facility. The Intern will be working closely alongside the department's IO group; jointly responsible for all media assets stored and used within the facility in London.
An understanding of the importance of content security is a large part of this role. The facility services all of Universal's products, and as such, the successful candidate will be working on and dealing with large volumes of assets including highly sensitive material.

Immediate Start
Project manager with relevant Broadcast Sector experience with Post Production Workflow and / Post Production Technology experience/Knowledge. This is an Urgent fast paced project requiring someone to start at short notice (immediate start or within 1-2 Weeks notice). It is a technology and change project which will involve moving key post production and data workflows to a new system in a short period of time. The right person will need the ability to get up to speed quickly and work confidently with people to get decisions made while maintaining good relationships with Engineering, Creative teams and current and target Post Production Vendors/suppliers.
Broadcast Media Client based in West London - looking for someone nearly full time (ideally 4 days a week) in the first phase of the project which will be for approximately 3 months, then reducing to part time for the remainder of the project, a further 3 months (approx 2 days a week).
The person
* Experienced at project management and change management within the broadcast media / post production sector (Delivering media Technology projects along with managing/preparing for the resulting change)
* Strong Project Manager with some Business Analysis skills to be able to gather information and document clearly (This is not a BA role - Project management and Change Management is most important)
* Good experience of post production, creative flows, MAM workflows and data,
* Good Experience of working with Creative and Technology teams
* Can work at pace and get up to speed quickly with the teams and the technology
* Can manage a project team and work with a 3rd party vendor
* Can work in detail and give senior stakeholders clear status reports and information to make decisions
* Can work in West London office approx 1-2 days a week and attend meetings in person
Although we are looking for someone to drive this project forward and be really on it, we need someone with great communication skills and collaboration skills who can keep work well with the small technology Engineering teams, new vendor, and help the Creative teams make a comfortable operational transition to the new post production technology and workflows.

The Role
- Lead, manage and mentor a small team of video editors: providing guidance and feedback on video assets while overseeing the video post-shoot workflow and team performance.
- Champion creative editing excellence and ensure the team remains current with beauty industry video trends across digital platforms to maintain on-trend output.
- Support business marketing strategies for campaigns, product launches, and BAU through video assets across all marketing channels.
- Edit video content for Trinny London (the brand) and Trinny Woodall (the person) for use on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram (both paid and organic placements).
- Edit diverse short-form videos, from campaign launch films featuring Trinny and model application videos to influencer beauty content, ensuring brand identity and tone of voice are consistent across all deliverables.
- Attend and feed into the creative direction briefings for campaigns - for the video editors -aligning with the Creative Brand Director & Senior Art Director on the edit approach.
- Build effective relationships with channel leads and teams - partnering to ensure consistent alignment on briefs and output and to ensure channel needs are captured within video content.
- Work with Head Of Design and Senior Designer to incorporate design elements into video for campaign assets creating consistency with the Design team to create motion graphics such as lower thirds, on-screen text, logos, and more complex animation.
- Support the operation, delivery, storage, and archiving of video assets.
- Collaborate with the Creative Project Managers & Production team to understand video delivery priorities and the assigning of assets to the team.
- Complete post-production for projects including encoding in different formats and subtitling videos so that our videos remain platform ready and supporting our editors with delivery of video assets.
- Work with the Producer to make sure all footage is saved and archived properly and ready for post production, according to schedule.
Requirements
These skills will help you go far in this role:
- Demonstrable experience as a Video Editor with in-depth knowledge of creating video content for specific platforms such as social media, web and paid ads in the beauty or premium fashion industry
- A strong ability to handle multiple projects at once.
- Solution-oriented with a flexible and adaptable skillset and the ability to see the big picture.
- High level of proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite
- Highly organised and reliable with excellent attention to detail
- In depth knowledge of video editing, colour grading, rough cuts and sound design to advise the team if/when required to drive innovation.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong ability to build constructive and influential working relationships at a senior level.
- Knowledge of Data Wrangling and labelling knowledge with the ability to follow in-house rules.
- A strong sense of typography, colour and composition is beneficial.
- Experience mentoring and coaching more junior members of staff.
