More about the Finance Manager role…

• Review and consolidation of management accounts and supporting commentary on a monthly basis.
• Maintaining and updating the WIP summary, challenging assumptions and calculating the month end WIP number for inclusion in the management accounts.
• Reconciling project gross profit to management accounts gross profit, verifying reconciling items.
• Provide support to the Divisional Finance Director in production of board packs and analysis
• Business Partner with Regional Finance teams.
• Ensuring integrity of data on COINS and Anaplan.
• Monthly reviews of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure appropriate and supportable balances are held in line with our accounting policies.

Our client is an extremely well-established company working primarily within the Manufacturing industry; due to continued growth and success they are now looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain up to date accounting policies and procedures for the company
li>Review of the monthly management accounts including a comparison against budget and providing commentary and variance analysis.

• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Office 365 and ERP systems.

Finance Manager Responsibilities

This position will involve, but will not be limited to:

• Take full responsibility for the effective operation, accuracy, and integrity of the finance system (Sage50).
• Manage and support the Finance Assistant, who is primarily responsible for the purchase ledger and day-to-day transactional processing.
