+ Maintain and improve financial models to analyse cash spend across operating expenses and investment, using advanced Excel skills to create ad hoc scenario analyses and deliver clear insights for stakeholders.
+ Prepare and communicate financial reports clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences, helping teams understand financial implications.
+ Support the business in building, reviewing, and tracking business cases, ensuring sound financial assumptions and alignment with budgets.
+ Coordinate the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, performing financial analysis and scenario planning to support business planning.
+ Monitor investment spend, ensure financial controls and SOX compliance, and prepare audit documentation as required. Support internal and external audits as needed.
+ Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and collaborate with teams to implement enhancements.
+ Utilise financial systems to ensure data accuracy and streamline reporting processes.
+ Work collaboratively within the finance team and across functions to support smooth financial operations and meet deadlines.

Finance Business Partner – The Role:
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for delivering financial support to the manufacturing operations team at the Manchester Site. This will involve supporting day to day activities and enabling informed decision making. Additionally producing robust reporting and insightful analysis as well as being heavily involved in site initiatives through financial validation of projects and challenging assumptions. Finance Business Partner – Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly accruals and Balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock accounting, reporting and supporting analysis
- Financial ownership for Manchester P&L
- Business partnering with local site management team
- Building of forecasts, budget and Strategic Plan in conjunction with the local site management team
- Validating and challenging capital expenditure requests (CERs), tracking CER approvals, capex forecasting and assessing Assets ready for use

Finance Business Partner – You:
- Working towards or a hold professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Ideally a minimum of three years commercial experience in a manufacturing environment and a knowledge of accounting systems, ideally with costing ERP experience
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to produce accurate work, pay attention to detail whilst being able to see the big picture
- Experience in the use of Microsoft office, being especially strong in excel and data manipulation, ideally with experience of using a business analytics platform
