Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing robust FP&A frameworks.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC) is highly desirable.

You will play a key part in safeguarding the company's financial health and reputation.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify, assess, and quantify financial and operational risks within the organization.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and stress testing exercises.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk exposures.
  • Collaborate with business units to implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's risk appetite framework.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of concern.
  • Develop and deliver risk awareness training to staff.
  • Stay updated on emerging risks and regulatory changes affecting the financial services industry.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, or a related role within the financial services or insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, Basel III).
  • Proficiency in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and risk assessment techniques.
  • Experience with risk management software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and operations is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM) are a plus.
