Job Role
Must be able to work with Beef, Pork, Lamb & Chicken.
You must be physically able to carry out these activities.
Hanging of meat products on racks to be cooked. Weighing, labelling & Packing of cured meat products of various flavours and weights, according to the customer requirements. Training given on the job.
Cleaning of equipment and area daily with team and as required - we have strict cleaning and hygiene standards.
During busy times, holidays and sick days you will be required to help in different areas, you must have a flexible, team spirited approach to work and a good eye for detail.
Job Details
Working 5 days a week and once a month a Saturday.
8 hour shift. Currently 8am - 5pm with unpaid 1 hour break split throughout the day.
Overtime required at busy times.
28 Days Holiday
Pay is dependant on experience and will be discussed at interview. We will review your pay within 3 months based on performance.

At Axiom Personnel we are recruiting for a temporaryFactory Operative for a company based in Rainham, Essex.
The job will involve checking very small parts from a production line or manually fixing small parts together. The perfect candidate will have sewing or textiles experience.
The ideal candidate will:
Operating Machinery
Have a keen eye for detail
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Have a very steady hand
Be able to concentrate for long periods of time
If you are skilled in a craft that requires dexterity such as sewing, embroidery, art etc we will be keen to hear from you.
Previous factory/warehouse experience is not required but is advantageous.
This is a full-time position working fromMonday-Friday from8:00am-4:30pm .

£25k-£26k DOE
Monday–Thursday – 6am starts (Only a 4 day week!)
My client is looking for Factory Operatives to join their team. Only a 4-day working week , you will be working in a hot factory environment, carrying out a variety of tasks including a large amount of manual handling. Additional paid breaks will be given to allow for the hot environment.
Duties include
- Manual handling – heavy lifting required
- Moving materials across the factory
- General factory duties
- Cleaning products using various hand and power tools
- Using smart tablet to log and mark off jobs
- Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Access to a vehicle due to location and start time.
- Previous experience in a factory environment.
- Physically fit in order to carry out heavy lifting and large amounts of manual handling.
- Happy to work in a hot environment.

You will be working closely within a team to identify and remove any broken concrete blocks (≈7kg) from pallets and repack the intact ones for distribution. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pallets are securely banded.
