Description

- Maintain Flow of Material to Production ensuring that where appropriate materials are issued in full and on time
- Issue and complete orders in accurate and timely manner and update live booking via SAP
- Clear Material shortages as soon as materials become available.
- Timely processing of all goods issues to internal and external customers ensuring 5 S principles and transactions are completed at all times using SAP.
- Receive and document all goods and services into the company ensuring that transactions are completed correctly and promptly.
- Pick and transfer between the appropriate warehouses items required to fulfil customer sales orders.
- Ensure that material returns are transacted accurately and promptly.
- Ensure that materials are correctly identified and stored.
- Ensure that stock rotation practices are maintained.
- Ensure that all materials handling equipment is maintained and fit for use
- Undertake regular stock checks in line with company requirements.
- Collect or deliver materials to internal staff.
- Pick, Pack and load goods required for despatch.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and accompanies all shipments.

Profile
A successful Material Handler should have:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, covering, shipping, goods inward, production movements and repetitive FLT movements.
- Experience of working with computerised stock management system is essential.
- Methodical and accurate record keeping.
- A comprehensive understanding of safety procedures.
- Meeting tight deadlines
- Experience of working in a similar environment
- Proficient in ERP/SAP systems and Excel
- Experience in adhering to the 5 S Warehouse standards

Role Overview:
The Material Handler will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials (base & foil) are prepared on time, in full, conditioned in line with current processes and are available to each foiling line in accordance with the daily production plan. Once production requirements have been met, any residual stock will be returned through the relevant procedures to the Base Warehouse.
