Tradewind are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Pastoral Support Worker to work off-site on a 1-to-1 basis alongside a teacher, providing support in the Millom area.
About the Role:
This unique role involves supporting a teacher working outside the mainstream classroom environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting wellbeing, building trust, and helping to create a safe, supportive atmosphere that enables positive engagement and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent 1-to-1 pastoral support in an off-site setting.
- Build a positive, professional relationship with the teacher and support their daily needs.
- Help manage emotional wellbeing, offering calm, compassionate guidance.
- Communicate effectively with external teams or agencies where required.
- Monitor and report on progress, challenges, or concerns.
Essential Qualities:
- Experience in pastoral care, youth work, education, or social care.
