Head of Content

Can you juggle ten freelancers, three video shoots, and 250 content pieces a month, without breaking a sweat?

Are you the kind of person who gets a weird sense of satisfaction from taking big ideas and finding a way to make them happen

Well well well… you could be our next Head of Content

The basics

Location: Central London (4 days in office, 1 day WFH or Office)

£80,000-£140,000 salary DOE plus attractive equity opportunity
Full-time

Hiring Manager: Lucy Squires, Brand Director

What are we building?

An AI Email & Meeting Assistant that eliminates the admin burden for professionals in client-facing roles. Think sales, consultants, recruiters, people spend hours on emails, scheduling, and follow-ups. Fyxer AIl streamlines and automates these tasks by understanding your inbox, drafting replies in your own voice, and taking crisp meeting notes.

How has it been going?

Launched in March 2024, now at $13M ARR from thousands of paid users

Graduated from HF0 in San Francisco, learning from OpenAI, Instacart, and Snowflake leaders

Raised Series A from a top firm to fuel rapid growth

What do we value?

We’re very intentional about adding new people. We think a small team of exceptional people working hard at a problem they care about will always beat a larger, less focused team. That does mean you’ll need to bring an intensity to this role that might not be asked at other companies. But it also means you will be fast tracked into more senior roles and responsibilities far earlier. We also believe in hiring people who want ownership and autonomy in their work, and giving it to them. We’ll reach +$25m in revenue by the end of 2025 - there will be plenty of opportunities for you!

About the Role

As Head of Content, you will own our content production engine overseeing the creation, optimization, and organization of all digital content across our full funnel.

This is a high-impact leadership role that combines content execution, strategic oversight, and team management. You’ll manage a team of 7+ creative freelancers alongside in-house teammates, ensuring that every asset produced is on-brand, data-driven, and built to perform.

You will be a connective tissue between the marketing team, balancing creative storytelling with performance-driven content.

We prioritize skills, experience, and intensity over traditional markers of seniority. If you’re proactive, organized, and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want you on board.

What You’ll Do

Creative Direction & Strategy: Define the content roadmap ensuring assets align with business objectives, audience insights, and performance data.

Build & Lead the Creative Production Team: Manage and scale a high-performing network of freelance creatives, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.

Own the Creative Machine: Manage our Creative Sprints to produce 250+ paid social assets monthly, ensuring efficiency and quality.

Own and Refine Briefs: Ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders. Write clear, actionable creative briefs in collaboration with marketing and performance teams.

Manage Video & Photo Shoots: Own the end-to-end production of video content—booking studios, hiring talent, managing crews, and ensuring smooth execution.

Keep us Organized: Ensure all raw and final assets are properly stored, tagged, and accessible.

️ Control Content Iterations: Track feedback, manage revisions efficiently, and ensure final assets meet brand and creative standards.

Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and ensure production scales smoothly as we grow.

Leverage AI: Stay ahead of the latest AI tools and trends, using AI extensively throughout content production.

5 Reasons This Role is Remarkable

You’ll be at the center of a high volume, high growth content operation
️ Instant feedback loop; see the real time performance of the work produced

Fast track your career with significant ownership and autonomy; you’re building the engine

Work with top tier creatives, videographers, and designers

Join a startup at the perfect moment, small enough for impact, big enough for scale

What Does Our Ideal Hire Look Like?

6+ years in content production, studio management, creative operations, or a similar role, with experience across wide range of content

Exceptional project management skills: You can run multiple production timelines seamlessly

Proven ability to manage and scale creative teams (freelancers, designers, videographers) while maintaining quality.

Deep understanding of content performance metrics and ability to optimize creative assets based on data.

Fast-paced & proactive: You don’t wait for instructions, you make things happen. You identify gaps and solve them before they become problems.

Experience managing video and photo production, including casting, studio booking, and logistics.

Bonus;
Hands-on expertise with content tools like Frame.io, Motion, Miro, Notion.

Experience working in a fast-scaling startup environment.

If you’re excited to build a world class creative production system inside a fast-scaling AI startup, we’d love to hear from you.
