Purpose of the Role:

The Head of Marketing & Communications will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day marketing activities of the club, focusing on both cricket products and venue marketing. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to deliver engaging fan experiences, oversee social media content, and ensure a seamless customer journey for our members and ticket holders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Marketing Management:
• Dev lop and implement marketing plans for cricket products and venue marketing.
• C ordinate with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns.
• M nitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• D velop and execute a advertising plan
• D velop and execute an email marketing plan
• P otect, enhance, and further develop the brand in line with the Club’s vision and values.
Matchday Fan Engagement:
• Pla and deliver fan engagement activities during matchdays alongside the Partnerships & Events Manager.

• C llaborate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of fan engagement initiatives.
Social Media, Communications and Content Oversight:
• O ersee the club's social media channels and website ensuring consistent and high-quality content.
• L ne manage the Digital Communications Executives, and Media Officer providing guidance and support.
• D velop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement and follower growth.
Membership & Ticketing collaboration:
• W rk closely with the Membership & Ticketing department to enhance the customer journey, while implementing strategies to increase membership and ticket sales.
Data Management:
• U ilise data analytics to inform marketing strategies and decision-making processes.
Ensure accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of marketing data.
• D velop data-driven insights to improve fan engagement, membership retention, and overall marketing effectiveness.
