The Healthcare investment banking group provides corporate clients across the Healthcare spectrum with advice, access to financing, and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products.

The Healthcare Group focuses on the full range of healthcare industry participants including managed care companies, life sciences companies, health service providers such as hospitals, and medical devices manufacturers.

Role Responsibilities

Our Associates play an important role in developing and strengthening client relationships, participating on advisory teams, and structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions. Responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, managing transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions. They gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their industry knowledge, developing analytical, communication, and marketing skills.

Associates develop financial models, perform company valuation analyses, and participate in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances. They prepare presentations explaining industry trends, assess client situations, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. They coordinate teams of tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers, lead due diligence, and participate in legal negotiations. From maintaining client communication to structuring transactions, Associates are vital to Goldman Sachs’ banking team’s investments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ investment banking or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding academic and professional achievement
  • Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively across multiple teams and regions

**Responsibilities:**

+ Manage and mentor analysts by providing detailed guidance and feedback, managing information flow, and providing credit and exposure information to analyst, as appropriate
**Qualifications:**
