An opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Lead Healthcare Architect to join a prestigious architectural practice based in Liverpool . This role demands a specialist with a deep understanding of healthcare facility design, from concept development through to project completion. You will be responsible for leading design teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of functionality, patient care, and regulatory compliance. This is a site-based role requiring regular attendance at the Liverpool office.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architectural design process for complex healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, and specialist care facilities.
  • Develop design concepts and masterplans, translating client briefs and user needs into innovative architectural solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare design standards, building regulations, and Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs).
  • Coordinate effectively with multi-disciplinary design teams, including structural engineers, MEP consultants, and medical planners.
  • Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, feasibility studies, and planning applications.
  • Oversee the production of detailed architectural drawings and specifications.

Qualifications:
